Warned

Postby AnthonyByakko » Tue Nov 21, 2006 7:23 am

Welcome! This thread is a place for solidarity and fellowship between Warned members. This thread is for people who are warned, like me. It is not for people who are not warned, like you.

The first order of business for the Warned members is a vote. The question before us is the following: What is the best part about being warned?

My stance: I posit that the best thing about being warned is that you cannot vote in polls. It provides the illusion of punishment without actually restricting a Warned member's access. As evidenced by the fact we have our very own thread, I as a Warned member am still able to produce them. As evidenced by the fact that this thread is also a poll, I can produce them as well. Not that any of us here in the Warned group can vote in it, but you get the picture.

That is all for today's meeting - Good night, and good luck.

Can former Warned members participate?

Personally my favourite thing used to be the name changing colour. It occurs to me now that I should have tried to pass it off as mod status since they were the only other ones with different coloured names.

Other than that, I enjoyed the bad boy reputation. You wouldn't believe the amount of PWeb chicks I banged because of it.

Oh, I take advantage of the open bar without being warned *knocks back a white russian*
The Makeout Hobo is real, and does indeed travel around the country in his van and make out with ladies... If you meet him, it is customary to greet him with a shot of whiskey and a high five (if you are a dude) or passionate makeouts (if you are a lady).

Warned members can't participate in polls? Wow. It's like your opinions don't even count. It's like you're not even people!
It's not "noob" to rhyme with "boob". It's "newbie" to rhyme with "boobie".

How many warned members are there, actually? My guess is not many.

As of right now, there's one in the usergroup. Technically two if you count the "Group Moderator" to be in the group. (In which case, Ollie is strike 1! )

No, it's cool. Hit the open bar as much as you like. You just can't get the cool welcome package until you get Warned.

So do your best everyone, and I'm sure you'll all get your Warning cherry popped soon.

Um.

So I just unsubscribed from the Warned group. Apparently, yes, I can do that. Doesn't seem very effective to put people into a group for being Warned if they can just leave at their own convenience. Usually I would try and exploit this oversight... But everyone deserves a break, now and again.

Hahahhaha, That's actually really, really funny.
I think the mods should work on that...

As moderator of the "warned" group, I feel perfectly justified in posting in this thread.

That being said, there's nothing special about that group. As in, no limitations or restrictions have been placed. In other words, there's nothing to exploit -- it was just something I was playing around with.

The real detraction to being "warned" is the obvious stigma, my everlasting disdain, and of course, being one step closer to being Kill Evil Banned.

If it becomes an issue, however, I don't doubt we can put our creative talent to work in finding ways to make the posting-lives of our warned brethren more awful.

I know you're kidding (or not, whatever), but is anything here of consequence?

I should have put an "Everlasting Disdain" option on the poll. Poo.
