Every time you talk about Julie, I can tell she's amazing and that she means a lot to you. I'd bet that she understands how you feel better than you think she does. Good luck helping her through the surgery and love and prayers from your friend on pweb!!

Ditto what steph said.
you snooze, you lose
well I have snozzed and lost
I'm pushing through
I'll disregard the cost
I hear the bells
so fascinating and
I'll slug it out
I'm sick of waiting
and I can
hear the bells are
ringing joyful and triumphant
well I have snozzed and lost

I'll disregard the cost

Re: Dear Diary/Journal/Bob 3.0
well bob, an update:
things are going well. busy, but well.
things have calmed down with the ex. she had the kid and is on again off again with the dad. she hasn't been being a bitch and she's pretty much been letting me be. thank god.
work is going great. it's my one year anniversary there on the 28th, and a month after i started my new position they gave me a 2k/yr raise. this past month they've been giving me more responsibility. i started doing more of the engineering side of things and i'm feeling pretty good about it. at this rate i'll actually be the electrical engineer by next year.
and it gets even better yet. things have been going splendidly with georgien. kinda wondering how long it will be before i get remarried. not in a rush or anything. it's just been going so great. it feels natural.
anyway, hugs for those who are sad, yay for for the happy people.

Bob'
I know my wife won't feel like driving for a couple weeks but I got her a little prize anyway. She seems to put a million miles on her big suv wheeling everybody everywhere and has said she would like something small and cute to drive part time or in good weather. Today I picked out a cute little turbo VW bug and am having it tricked out and delivered to the farm next week. I think i will get a big ribbon to tie to it and leave it in the shop for her to find. I hope its the right thing, at least she will be thrilled that I spent some of my plane $ on it.

Good luck, buckshot. I drive a VW Bug and I HATE it.
Its small and cute but incredibly unreliable. Granted, 2004 was the last model year of VW manufactured in Mexico (for good reason!)
Sweet thought though!

That's before it started breaking every 3-6 months and needing 600-1500 to fix it every time.

Re: Dear Diary/Journal/Bob 3.0
Bob,
My cousin committed suicide last night/very early this morning.
I was prancing around today, thinking about how much my life looks (not feels, not exactly) like a fairy tale and my cousin was so down about life, he killed himself.
I am having so much trouble with this concept.
