Well, since we're doing this...

I nominated both myself and GS.

GS because he's outside this whole process that's been going on, and I trust him. To be honest, as much as I like everyone else who's been nominated and think they would perform adequately, I don't want someone who's so attached/involved to be the one supposed to maintain the forum rules with objectivity and passivity. And because he probably didn't even think to want the job, let alone the responsibility, which is exactly what I would want. Someone to whom it means little to.

Myself because I wanted to be in it, to make a few points known. And because on the outside chance it happens, I've got the time, and I feel the right perspective on forum moderation in general - hands-off and detached unless absolutely necessary, and at all other times simply another member of the forum.

That's it.

So... let's get this over with quickly.
