I refuse to believe that I'm the only person with a terrible sense of direction. I can barely walk out my door without losing my way, and I need people to commiserate with!

I have absolutely no sense of direction. I can get lost in my home town and often forget which roads to take.

The only way I get anywhere is if I use my GPS, and sometimes it was me to go the wrong way down a one-way.

I get lost the way cool kids do. In slow motion montage.

When I come out of a store in the mall, I never remember which way I came from and have to look at the overhead signs to see what anchor store I need to go towards. It's pathetic. I also don't know my right from my left without making the hand signs.

This is me, too, exactly.

I don't get lost so easily, although I have nearly zero sense of direction. Generally I just learn cells of an area and link them up. Which is risky when you end up in a cell you don't know so well and have to get somewhere else.

It's a really good thing that I'm married, because I only know my left hand by the fact that it has a ring on it.

Like Caspian, I have very little sense of direction (though slightly more then him). Can you imagine the road trips? We're both terrible.

How do you people survive without knowing your precise position on the planet at all times? I feel totally out of place not knowing exactly where I am, how I got there, where there is in regards to other locations, where I am going, and a basic outline of the geography and roads of the area.

I mean, I survive obviously. I have a GPS and Will (who has an amazing sense of direction). Basically, if you name a town that's not directly connected to my town or where I work, i'm completely lost.

I think my poor sense of direction improved when I meandered around India... but my mom did give me a compass as a welcome home gift...
