This has always been one of my favorite things to find out about people. That is, finding out how they met, who else they know, finding the connections. Plus, it's always kind of cool when science half-proves wives' tales.

I also love any excuse to brag that my Bacon number is, at most, a 4. I'm sure there are others on this board with lower ones, though, the jerks.

So, for those who are interested in this, then you might want to check out a book Here Comes Everyone

It really is a fascinating book about the Internet and how organizing and social relationships are changing because of it.

No, it doesn't. It finds that's the average seperation of two people using Microsoft Messenger. But who cares about accuracy, accuracy is less interesting.
