Dried banana chips are ok by me. As is banana bread and fried bananas.Disagree. Very much disagree.Everything would be so much better without dried banana chips. Gross.
Other banana flavored stuff (eg candy, gum and the like) - yucky.

That's what prompted us to set up Nom's tumblr. Once the assorted relatives had one place to check each day, the overwhelming requests from numerous parties dropped off entirely.Between my parents and brother, I don't have much time to actually do anything because I'm spending all my time updating them when they call or text every 5 seconds asking what I've been up to. It's sweet but it's getting old, fast.
*mind blown*There have been a few gatherings where I was specifically told the only thing they'd have that I'd like is water, so if I wanted something else, bring it, since it didn't make sense to anyone involved for them to buy something just for one person.
This is pretty much my view. Showing up with a personal beverage doesn't seem too rude to me. Plus I was raised to always at least offer to bring something to a dinner party. Not as an affront to the cook or trying to imply there will not be sufficient food, but just as a courtesy side of gratitude.I'd say that if I was going to a party and I really needed caffeine I wouldn't hesitate to stop on the way to get some coffee. Then, if I wasn't quite finished with the coffee when I arrived at the party, I'd bring it in with me rather than sitting in the car drinking it. so I guess I'm saying that if the didn't show up with a full pot of coffee, I wouldn't be offended.
