I still prefer Ye Older PWEB, Ye Olde PWEB and PWEB (or perhaps Ye Current PWEB).

I'm with Jebus on this one...I like the names like that...and Ye Older Pweb just seems cumbersome to me...

But the last PWeb still feels like the real PWeb to me. I'm sure in time that will change, but it doesn't feel right calling it Ye Olde Pweb, a name I've always associated with some mythical, pre-historic form of PWeb (aka, before I joined).

I like calling them Pweb, Olde Pweb, and Eald Pweb, but then I'm a geek.

I'm with Jebus. I think "Ye Olde Pweb" will always refer to the time before time for me.
I sorta like

Ye Olde Pweb
Ye Not-so-Olde Pweb
Ye Current Pweb
I'm definitely in favor of this

Although I've got to admit that I like the idea of my Pweb being old and thus making me feel older than I really am... I've got to agree with Jeebsy (amazing moment in history, I know) about the naming.

Apparently Jani doesn't agree with me much, that makes me sad.
Ye Olde Pweb
Ye Not-so-Olde Pweb
Ye Current Pweb
The problem with this one is it kinda seems like the gimmick is being abused, but then again, PWeb really does have a tendancy of trying to squeeze every last drop of humour out of all its gimmicks, so maybe it's the most appropriate.

I'm with John on the Ye Olde and Ye Older. The concept makes me giggle uncontrollably.
If you ever find yourself reading a book entitled The Bible, you will find yourself reading the story of Adam and Eve, whose daring lives led them to put on clothing for the first time to escape from the snake infested garden in which they were living.

No, we should do it Tolkien style. The three incarnations of Pweb will henceforth be referred to simply as the first age, the second age, and the third age. That also preemptively answers the question of what we will call the next version should one arise.

Ye Olde PWeb
PWeb II
PWeb 3.0
I approve, except I would rather have PWeb ][ instead of II.

To be consistent with each epoch naming conventions, i'd propose:

Ye Olde Pwebbe
PWeb 2.0
PWeb 2k6 (or 2006, or '06... you get the trend, right? :D)

Edit:
No, wait! the last one, according to current naming convention would be:
PWeb '07 (or 2007)
LOL

I like Jebus' suggestion.

Ye Older/Olde/Current is funny. But the first PWeb is Ye Olde PWeb! We can't [/i]change[/i] that!

i.a.w.t.c.

Or, we could change "Age" to "Reich"

i.a.w.t.c.
Does that mean "I agree with that comment"? I bet it does. I have an uncanny ability to look at an acronym I've never seen before and know what it stands for. Just this morning I immediately deciphered l.y.w.a.m.h. even though I was given no context other than that it's "web speak". Aren't I special?! :P

Unlike neo, I can't do that for the life of me. I had to look up both of those acronyms :D

I'm with Jebus on the names. I like the Ye Olde/not-so-olde/current, but I'd probably get sick of Ye all the time.
