Pweb Kids

Postby steph » Wed Feb 23, 2011 4:49 pm

I never know where is the best place to post pictures and stories and such of the kids, so here's a new thread that can be used by mothers, aunts, uncles, etc! :)

To start us off, here is a video of Tyler in his debut cooking show! All of this, including writing the recipe, was all him. No help from me!

Hey, thanks for including aunts/uncles in there. I always feel so left out of kidlet talk. :)

That was hilarious, by the way. I love when Brayden asked Tyler if he had to wash his hands again but I love even more that Tyler made that whole "I can touch the ice cream because I washed my hands" comment in the first place. Such a little professional.

Oh wow, that was adorable! I couldn't stop giggling at all the cuteness going on.

Ice cream soup sounds so much better then my nephew's hotdog soup... He's never shown me how to make it, but it involves hotdogs, water, sugar, ketchup, and pudding.

I'm pretty sure he's never actually made this... I hope.

Awww, thanks guys!

Will it kill all of you with cuteness if I post another one?

P.S. Nieces and nephews are very important, and I want to hear stories of them, too!

That was all adorable! I loved the ice cream soup. The pitch of Tyler's voice is so cute...how it goes up and down. Does he always talk like that or was that his "tv voice"?

Super cute smiles and stuff.

You weren't kidding. That's great, how Ginny seems to have taken to Maggie and Maggie is flippin' adorable.

Thanks guys!

I finally got a chance to watch Tyler's Ice Cream soup video and I just about peed myself laughing! So incredibly cute and funny. I love everything about it - especially counting down with the microwave. Such a smartie pants.

I can't believe how old Kinley is! I feel like she was just born, even though I know I just had Maggie. Other people's kids age so much faster.

I love that video of the girls! So cute!

I can't stop watching the ice cream soup video. It's so funny! He usually is pretty animated in his speech, but this was just SO over the top and hilarious!!

I love when he reads and you can hear the inflections. It shows me that he really is understanding what he's reading.

Jan, Kinley will be a year old in less than 2 weeks! It's crazy! You can come to her super awesome birthday party, if you want! ;)

Not that I like seeing your child suffer, Jan, but that is a great shot.

As for Ginny, I must admit to being a bit pained by the way she was grasping the marker but I was so in love with everything else. I sincerely hope that she doesn't lose the joy of drawing/creating.

My baby is a year old already!! Where the heck did that year go? We are so blessed to have this sweet spirit in our family. Happy Birthday, my sweet Kinley!

Wow! Where did it go? Happy birthday, Kinley!

Went to a Sci-Fi Con today, Ginny had her first Furry experience.

Image

Pokemon? I have no idea. All she cared was that it was a giant stuffed animal.

And her first R2D2 Experience, which was much more awesome.

I have never ever seen a kid so excited to meet life-sized characters! Most of the ones I've seen just cry and run away. So you have one cool kiddo!

Seriously, I was terrified of costumed characters until I was about 7 or 8.

Tyler has been nominated for Camp Innovation in partnership with IBM. I'm really excited for the program. From the 6 nominations for each school, they will selected 3 kids, leaving our odds at 50/50. I REALLY hope he gets in, as I really feel we need all the help we can get with this gifted child!
