Jan, Kirsten, and Jeff, off the top of my head.
Aww, thanks. I promise I'm reading pweb every day, it's just hard to find time to post.
Soon I'll be less insanely busy.

I've been posting! At least once per day.

Of course, I haven't been on AIM very much, but come on. It's AIM.

Sorry! I'm just becoming somewhat reclusive, I guess. On the Internet and in my offline life, both. But I do at least check pweb daily.

No, you're totally right. At least one post a day is no grounds for missing you. I shall strike you from the list and won't let it happen again. *nod*

I never thought I'd be saying this name here so soon, but... John Steakley. [Edit: Oh, uh, this is the guy that wrote Armor and some other things.]

What I feel oddly terrible about is that it took me almost exactly two months to find out that he had died! Anyone else here who was a fan of his has completely failed at being a fan for not noticing and mentioning this for the past two months.

Everything I've read about him indicated that he was a really cool guy to meet in person, and I really thought I had more time to maybe do that someday. And he only wrote two novels! And some other stuff, but still! Dammit.

Yes! What's the time difference? 8 hours? 9 hours? I'll be around from 8-9:30AM AZ time (3 hours behind US Eastern), then again at 2PM AZ time, then distractedly so from 5-6:50PM AZ Time.

I really, really miss my mom. She's got such a down-to-earth sensibility, and there's no one like a woman who's given birth to 5 kids to coach you through your first.

My older sister has a 2 year old. But she's still in Canada, too.

I think there is a thread for this somewhere, but I can't remember what it is called to look for it and this one fits well enough.

Thanks for looking for me. I'm here. I stepped away from PWeb for a bit and now I'm working at catching up on everything I missed. You guys complain about this place not being busy enough, but if you step away for a week or two you'd understand that there is a TON to catch up on. Two full pages of threads with new posts...

I miss you guys.

Between working long hours and not having internet at home I'm only able to get online maybe once a week, if that. That only gives me enough time to do my adminy maintenance things (aka: spambot whack-a-mole) and check a couple of threads. I'm falling horribly behind and am tempted to hit the "mark all topics read" button. :(

My extended family and my friends back in North Dakota. So much. It hurts, a bit.

I really have such a tiny, limited circle here. And with my baby boy coming so soon, I'm really feeling it.
