I'm happy this one is up and running!

I'm spending hours on here, clicking around like an addict who needs her fix (uncomfortably close to reality), instead of doing my course reading.

I really ought to be working on syntax or Augustine or any host of other things. But I don't want to, because "w-w-w-e-e-e-e'-r-r-r-r-e-e b-b-a-a-a-c-k-k"

I feel like if I leave to go do the work I really should have had done hours ago, or even *gasp* sleep, it's all going to magically disappear again, or something really vital and important is going to happen, and I'm going to miss it all.

And I've officially written my first true Janelle Post. That was all one lovely run-on sentence with way too many commas. You know you missed me.

No, something vital happened when I was at class all day.

Tomorrow, I'm taking my computer with me.

You can't really hold it against someone that they were stuck in classes from 9 am to 7 pm, and rushed on as soon as they humanly could.

janelle, we all know you're obsessed. (insert tongue sticking out smilie.) if it had come back any other time i probably would be a later register too. maybe i hold a grudge from *not* being one of the earliest registers from pweb 2.0 and wanted to gloat a little.

Gloat away, Catherine, and enjoy it. :) I was just feeling a little ashamed at my apparent lack of obsessive devotedness, and I just know that that 27 is going to haunt me until my dying day. Or next week. Whichever comes first.

Back on the last forum, I think I was 7 and 8. Being 24 actually does bother me a little, but not all that much. Anyways, if anyone could get my old number, I am happy it was Catherine :)

Edit: It has since been pointed out to me that I am an idiot. I am sure you all already knew this, but the specifics of it involved the fact that I am in fact 25, not 24. I suppose this is fitting, because chronologically speaking, that number also corresponds to my current age.

Since I came in so late to the party, there were so many threads I saw I immediately thought "oh, they managed to save the old threads this time." Then I just realized I just had a hella lotta reading to do to catch up. Gah.

Because I have no idea where else to put this:

I confess that I am baffled by the number of posters who are now averaging over 1 post per hour. I won't name names, but the highest post count on the board right now averages out to about a post every 20 minutes over the last day!

*confession*

I've been checking for pweb like mad.

But didn't find it until John told me about it.

Because I kept checking the old URL.

Same here, on all counts.

See, it's one of my homepages on Firefox. But the old URL was. So I come online and John's like, "Elena, the site's back up."

I think I actually argued with him for a minute, too, because I'd just opened Firefox and didn't see it up.

... yes, I know. That was stupid.

Really? Oh, good.

... I take it I did argue, then, and I'm not making it up to (for some reason) make myself feel more stupid?

Edit: And I'm not sure knowing you longer should make us trust you less or more. :P

I only argued briefly!

And that's because although I do trust you, I trust my own five senses more. It took a minute to override those, because as you IM'd me, I was staring at "This page cannot be found."

I'm finding it really strange to see John saying, like.... responsible, official-like things. And I don't even know him that well.

Edit: Another one.

I've been playing way too much Starcraft in the past few days. I don't even like it that much, really... but it's the only game the other guys in the dorm will play. (C&C: Red Alert gets no love around here, apparently.)

Edit: Another

I'm actually a little sad that I'm not even on the first page of users by joindate. I used to be like fourth or something....

I killed a man in Reno. But it wasn't to watch him die. It was for other reasons.

And I stole that joke from Veronica Mars

I feel so ashamed about my join date.

I didn't know this forum was up until I read it on Hatrack (I lurked there while Pweb was down).
