Things that make me laugh

Postby Peterlover14 » Mon Dec 07, 2009 5:08 pm

Yeah, I know the title is lame.

Well, because there is the Things I love and hate columns, I though we could make one where we post things that amuse us that aren't really that funny if you think about it. For instance:

I find it funny when people fail a test or quiz. It's sounds mean, right? But I couldn't help laughing when I graded this girls Spanish quiz and she missed EVERY SINGLE QUESTION.

So what amuses you?

Nearly 35 posts per day means you can't help but be amusing to some people in some fashion.

Yes, I agree. I've been here a year and yet if we compare the number of posts between Peterlover14 and me...well...I think that's funny.

I also find it funny when someone just starts laughing randomly during a conversation because they remembered something hilarious...and the rest of the people just look at them like they're an idiot.

In this case: Aes = idiot.

Aes=smart

Don't even argue.

I find that funny too. Except I laugh when nobody is talking.

Miranda=weird and dumb?

I just reread the entire Harry Potter SPOILERS thread. (Originally, I was rereading all of my posts. But I got diverted.)

That made me laugh really hard.

Which part made you laugh?

It makes me laugh when a teacher is talking and absolutely NOBODY is listening.

Its funny when a teacher goes so off-topic and we spend the whole class discussing things like cafeteria food. Complete waste of a lesson, but funny all the same.

Several things that I used to or currently just think about randomly to get a quick mindlaugh, which might even translate into a smile.

1. Girl: Hey, do any of you know if John F Kennedy is alive?
Me:.....Llllllllllollll
No he isn't. (it's not like he's famously known for getting assasinated or anything like that)
Girl: Oh, because he's kinda hot.
Me: ..........lol

2.
Friend: D.C. has a representative in Congress? too, but she doesn't do anything. She just like sits and watches.
Me: Well...she is a women
Both of us: LOL (no offense)

They have three shadows, actually. One in the House, two in the Senate.

And none of them are women. ;)

4. Bonus Question on Government Final: What are the three b's that lobbyists use?
Actual answer: Bribes, Booze, and Broads
Answer I put: Bribes, Booze,...........................
....................................................................
(I literally spent 4 minutes trying to think of the last one)
Boobs?

You're right, she's the actual delegate who gets to sit on committee. I was thinking of the two shadow senators and one shadow representative that D.C. voters elect (who have offices at the Capitol but aren't recognized by Congress and spend most of their time complaining about how D.C. doesn't have adequate representation -- all three are men).

Plus, we weren't talking about politics as much as we were talking about the structure of the government.

Oh, I want a law degree so bad, damn it! I have to wait antoher seven years though, this sucks. But, as Pl14 mentioned, this is not the place to complain, so here's what makes be laugh:

When someone is trying to talk to someone and they other person is completely ignoring. Yet they still continue to talk. Its fun to watch that sometimes. I don't understand why people don't get when they're not wanted, I mean, there are very obvious signs. Self-centered people are quite weird.

Yes they are. I'm so aware of what people think of me that I get a little paranoid. Maybe I'm not the only one who noticed that.

I find it funny when someone says something that is totally incoherent. Like the other day when I was talking to some people at the front of the bus and laughing and stuff and then this really weird red-headed kid with a high voice and a redneck accent yell something from the back of the bus and NOBODY knew what he said. It was hilarious.

My mom discovered them a month ago, so I got her one of their albums for Christmas. "Africa" is stuck in my head 24/7, now.

I have both cds and think SNC is pretty dang awesome. :)

Carol of the Bells

Christmas CanCan

I also love their version of We Three Kings that is opened in the style of the Mission Impossible theme.
