From the FAQ:
It only holds paperbacks and it leaves marks? No Thanks.Does it damage the books?
Sticklebook's comb will leave a small mark on the ends of the book leaves but has been carefully designed to ensure as minimal marking as possible.
Does it matter how big or fat a book is?
Sticklebook's design is such that it can cope with all standard paperbacks.
Can I hang hardback books?
No - sticklebook has been designed for paperbacks only.

Seems weird to me. I'd be worried I'd wake up in the middle of the night to a crash when it fell on the floor.
Edit:
*giggles* It's a Kiwi thing!!
That seems WAY too gimmicky a comment to be something that actually works.one of the things in the FAQ on that page is how to get your books to stop screaming in agony. They suggest rubbing the books with crushed tylenol tablets.

Ewww, exactly as Jayelle said, although...it is kinda cool to have the illusion they're just hanging there...

I would die... it hurts the books and it doesn't even keep them in a straight line.
If you ever find yourself reading a book entitled The Bible, you will find yourself reading the story of Adam and Eve, whose daring lives led them to put on clothing for the first time to escape from the snake infested garden in which they were living.

one word earthquake
"when a school counselor called her in to tell her that the school administration was growing concerned about the fact that Petra seemed to be associating with the antisocial element in the school, she knew that she was truly at home in Maralik."
Re:
I wanna invent something weird.
I support this goal!
I have a cool idea that it would cool (and a space saver) to store books on a ceiling...
but that's a bad idea considering I live in earthquake zone lol

Re: invisible bookshelf
how about a Murphy bed that folds up into a book shelf, kinda like taking books under the bed to a new level, as I am totally acing the current one. seriously though I end up with half my books slipping under there and I have to go fish them out all the time. hey what about a house with all the walls made entirely of books, though once again earthquake hazard... E-book overall make a nice solution if only they weren't so expensive. If anything they should be cheaper since there are no printing costs. But hey the world we live in makes no sense so why should this. anyways those are all my crazy ideas for tonight.
He thought of half a dozen ideas before he went to sleep. Ender would be pleased-every one of them was stupid.

Re: invisible bookshelf
Personally, I'd prefer the "hidden bed behind the bookshelf" ... you'd open the bookshelf like doors and there's your Murphy bed behind it!how about a Murphy bed that folds up into a book shelf, kinda like taking books under the bed to a new level
