haha sorry for the urgency, I'm just confused on what to do with my life now that I've finished all the Ender books (more than once :p) and now I need new a book that is decent to read and hopefully somewhat similar to Ender's Game or similar writing style.

Any suggestions??

Hi there. You can head over to the "Other OSC Works" section, there are plenty of suggestions there.

Or, if you get tired of that writing style (not that it'll ever happen, but still...), you can read the Artemis Fowl series. A Harry Potter-like series which is actually much better than Potter, only less famous. Oh, and the main character is evil at the beginning of the series...but that is one of the things that makes the series fun.

Locke Lamora is tremendously fun, very much in the Pirates of the Carribbean vein.

A Song of Ice and Fire is sort of like taking the Sopranos and putting it into ancient history, mixing in a little big of magic. the first three books are probably some of the best writing in any genre in the last fifteen years.

The Shadow of the Wind is a heartbreaking mesmerizing mysterious exciting romantic tragedy with a tremendous passion for books thrown in.

The Liveship Traders is a marvelous (and complete!) series with a terrific set of characters. Hobb's writing and attention to character here are similar to Cards, while the scope of her cast and story are similar to martins.

Dune - perfection, a classic everyone should read

Wild Seed - stunning sci fi novel. Gives you an idea of what Heroes could be like if they wrote interesting plots rather than making their character development depend on cliffhangers.

Eifelheim - amazing scifi set in middle ages europe, postulating a fascinating and powerful story of first contact long forgotten.

The His Dark Materials trilogy. Probably the most amazing fantasy world I've ever encountered.

Seconded. There's the rest of the series as well, which, while enjoyable to many, is far from perfection in my opinion.
