*confession*
I'm going to drive 60 miles tomorrow morning on deer-infested roads and do mentally draining work on less than four hours of sleep.
Also, I just finished working up my AAPI hours log. In my head, I find it very amusing that I keep thinking, "I'm so happy to be done with AAPI!" (AAPI is pronounced to rhyme with happy, in case it isn't obvious.) The degree to which I find this amusing is really very disturbing. I'm going to go sleep now.

into the wind, unafraid.

That was my original goal, but I set my classes too early for my best interests, I suppose.
In any case, I shall confess that I've set my sights too high for early classes, I suppose. So I have a weak will.
Related to classes --
Confession: I may or may not be running away from my problems again. I transferred schools, thinking location was the problem, but it appears I'm in an even worse situation, where I feel even more uncomfortable. I think my first locale only felt out of place because I was continually thinking of being here. So I'm switching back (assuming I can get someone to take over my lease).
And I'm not sure if I'm not just making the same mistake again.

Confession: The Sox are going to win the world series. Again. And I am terrified.
I'm too superstitous. Everything as I understand it is going to crumble should something so miraculous happen again in so short a span of time after so long and so mythical a drought. I'm not prepared for the breakdown of Boston blue-collar as I know and love it.
Goddamnit.
Yet I can't not root for the home team. Talk about a conflict of interests...

you snooze, you lose
well I have snozzed and lost
I'm pushing through
I'll disregard the cost
I hear the bells
so fascinating and
I'll slug it out
I'm sick of waiting
and I can
hear the bells are
ringing joyful and triumphant

Confession: It's 4pm, I've been awake since 8am and all I have eaten today is a muffin. My desire and ability to eat decreases along with my mood.
Confession: When I feel really down and feeling that there are not many compelling reasons to keep living, the one that feels most true in my heart is that Pheeny (my bearded dragon) needs me. No one else would take care of her and she would be without a good home if I was gone.

Sometimes (okay, always) I title my papers with the feeling of thousands of years of history behind them. For example, On the Opening of Canto XXXI of Dante's Paradiso.
I also tend to procrastinate further by sorting out what the title would be in Latin, and strongly consider handing it in titled thus. (De principio cantus XXXI paradisi Dantis, if anyone was curious.)

When I'm sick or stressed or nervous, sometimes the only thing that helps me sleep is holding the Cabbage Patch doll I've had since I was five. I've dragged her all over the country. There's just something very familiar and comforting about how she fits in my arms.

Confession: After the kids went to sleep while I was babysitting tonight there was nothing on tv, so I decided to watch MTV's showing of Legally Blonde the Musical and be disdainful.
Total backfire. I was sort of completely charmed by it, which, given my theatre pedigree, is slightly embarassing. Still, the songs are so very, very stuck in my head now, so much so that I'm considering shelling out for teh soundtrack...

Confession: I hate living by myself. I knew it was a bad idea when I did it. It's less annoying having to deal with someone else's mess, especially when I'm stressed out, but overall I think my productivity decreases. I need someone around to make me accountable for studying. So now, I have to spend 14-16 hours at school studying because I know if I'm home by myself I get distracted too easily. And... I really miss just having people around. Why did I ever think living by myself was a good idea? I get lonely too easily.
Confession: I think I am a little too overconfident about this biochem exam. I hope I still study hard for it today.

Confession: This was the first weekend that I did not see my girlfriend since the begining of the semester and I am okay with that. Although it does suck that we have a window of two days that we can actually hang out. Especially when things come up and plans have to change.
Confession: I fear that this will be a long week because I won't get to see her until this weekend. I hate knowing the fact that I have zero chance of seeing her until friday.

Confession: I really, really wanna get Guitar Hero 2, but because of it's enormous price here- about 170$- it's practically impossible; it'd cost me 7 months of my pocket money, and for my age, I get pretty high pocket money.
Plus, I can't find work, because I'm still at school, but now there's a strike- and I STILL can't find work, because "the strike can end every day". That blows.

Double post and a shameless way to increase my post count *evil laugh*
Confession: I looked at the top ten posters and was saddened. Not saddened by the fact of who was there, but by the fact of who wasn't there. Names like ValentineNicole, Alai, Satya, Chibi, PowerfulCheese, Limegiver. I also miss my name being up there. *tear*
*note: the word saddened was used for dramatic effect.

I'm actually kind of shocked that I'm ranked where I am. I didn't think I posted quite so much. Perhaps it's from when the board first reopened and I posted about Henry every 0.005 seconds?

It's not a good thing or a bad thing.
The bad thing is posting just for post count, which I really don't think happens anymore.
Kim, I actually have the opposite going on. I have a lot of time, just not that much to say.
Zero, that would be interesting to find out. Not a good or bad thing, just interesting.

Confession: I giggled. Out loud.
Confession: It is starting to bother me that I own every single backstreet boys CD (except for one, and I have it on good authority that my best friend is getting it for me this christmas) and I cannot find any songs by 50cent or Kanye West or Ciara or whoever-the-heck-else that I like enough to buy a CD of.
Confession: I think it might be because The songs by the latter artists tend to use heavy breathing like an instrument.
