And that's okay. I don't know if anyone blames you.Confession: Not only do I not understand the appeal of national talk like a pirate day...I mostly just find it obnoxious.

Confession: I answered the questions on my Art History test with piratey language. I figured that if the professor was going to talk like a pirate before the test began, it was an open invitation.

If it helps...PostSecret just does not move me like it used to. Often I wonder if the secrets are real, or just an attampt at getting a postcard on postsecret. I think this may be about my general sense of jadedness.
I think the fact that you're wondering at all says something about your lack of jadedness....

Been taking it up with the admission board, have we? Tell them to take their time reviewing my file. I plan to stay on Earth for a good while longer, but ask if they got the mints I sent.Ah, if they would get you into heaven for being just a nice guy and helping out, I'd probably get in (sorry for bragging)..but they don't. -_-

I would, but they don't listen to me no more up in the sky..though, they say they got your mints- and that they don't like it very much.

Oh my God. I did, too. Before I read this. The same day.I got bored.
So I went to read The Eye of Argon.
Weirdness.
With the MST3K riffs, if anyone cares.

I had no idea Usenet was still as active today as it actually is. I mean, being geeky and all I always knew what it was, and even knew some of the history and jokes from it, but I always kinda considered it a dead-or-dying thing of the past, like telnet logins.
Due to my discovery of the above untruth, I have spent way too much time looking through the various newsgroups. I've got stuff to do, dammit.

Plus, we can always start a revolt against the all-mighty, sponsered by Satan ^^ I think 20,000,000,000 personal could easily defeat the 10,000 saints there, regardless of how strong they will be..The implication is that that isn't a choice. Besides, the sinners are much more fun.

Confession: the only way I can really effectively clean my room is if I blast really loud upbeat music and turn the whole project into my own private dance party.
you snooze, you lose
well I have snozzed and lost
I'm pushing through
I'll disregard the cost
I hear the bells
so fascinating and
I'll slug it out
I'm sick of waiting
and I can
hear the bells are
ringing joyful and triumphant

I honestly meant to go to bed early tonight. Instead I ended up watching a movie about drunken curlers (the sport, not the hairdressing tool).

Sometimes I am scared of opening emails from people I like, for fear they will be rejecting me. Or thinking how stupid the email I sent them was. Same with checking my voicemails.

I threw popcorn once at a group of girls who were singing through RENT at the theatre. It was a small theatre and they were quite audible, but not nearly as good as the people on the film.
I am scared of my email inbox. I'm normally scared of it, but I'm more scared of it right now. I hate checking it, and my stomach is always in knots. Same goes for voicemail.

I have the urge to make a confession but I don't really care what it's about. Okay, well, this isn't a big secret since I'll tell pretty much anyone but...i've been picking the skin around my cuticles ever since I can remember, I make them bleed daily. I stopped for awhile and moved to picking my scalp, but now I do both. And it's gotten somewhat worse of late, not sure why. I think I should ease off of my scalp as I think I'm causing some swollen glands...and it's quite sore in spots. sigh...the perils of being crazy.

Confession: I take unusual pleasure from making bad puns about spelling errors people make in IM conversations. Example:
_-mich-_: What is your physics-defying idea?
_-JAZZ-_: nothing im willing to discuss with someone who would steel it to make a profit
_-mich-_: Sure I wouldn't just iron it?

At times when reading about Kirsten's post grad/phD/dissertation experiences, I have the completely paranoid and irrational fear that she is in reality my former best friend in disguise...only because of the similarities of current stages of educational progress and experiences thereof. Despite the fact that I have seen PICTURES of Kirsten, she lives thousands of miles away, she is majoring in psychiatry and is quite knowledgeable on the topic (so thus, couldn't be faking the major), and it is totally ridiculous.
But yeah...that was embarrassing to admit.

Confession: When watching the Mary Martin version of Peter Pan--I can't not clap to save Tinkerbell. I think once, as a child, I didn't clap--to see what would happen. But I felt incredibly guilty about it. It was on tv a few years ago and Henry and I were watching it out of nostalgia and boredom. That scene came on and I shifted ever-so-subtly, and quietly pressed my palms together oh-so-silently once or twice in a row. "Are you clapping?" he asked me, bemused. I blushed, and nodded. He leaned over and kissed my temple, up by my hairline. And started clapping. Loudly.
Confession: I managed to type up that anecdote without getting choked up.
