Re: LIFE points
Is this a problem because you're being sexiled, a problem because they are gay, a problem because you are sexiled by a gay person, or are you doing the awful thing of using gay to mean "stupid" or similar?
If the first, I don't see the need to bring up their sexuality but otherwise understand, if the second...no comment, if the third see the previous reaction, and if the fourth, while I know PCism can go too far, it's still one of those colloquial uses of the word I'd like to see go the way of the dinosaurs.

Re: LIFE points
I learned what sexiled means today!
Did he use a sock, or a tie?
Honestly, my least favorite memory from freshman year was that my roommate didn't bother "sexiling" me. He and his girlfriend just... disappeared beneath the blanket. The light stayed on. It was awkward.

And this is why you have individual rooms. Hidden at the back end of the college. In a labyrinth. At a dead end. Surrounded by second years who haven't moved in yet.

Waking up at 4:00am due to a dream that involved spiders and thinking you're covered in spiders and trying not to think about spiders and interpreting every movement, sound, or strange feeling as spiders:

I know you have read Hyperbole and a Half, so I know you are aware of the knife-wielding, swastika-tattooed, death spiders she has blogged about. That is all I can picture right now.
Oh Allie Brosh. PLEASE UPDATE SOON.

you snooze, you lose
well I have snozzed and lost
I'm pushing through
I'll disregard the cost
I hear the bells
so fascinating and
I'll slug it out
I'm sick of waiting
and I can
hear the bells are
ringing joyful and triumphant

Re: LIFE points
I woke up to two of my cats just watching a spider in our bed... Just watching. Then they let it go. They're doing this cat thing wrong.

If she wasn't attached at the hip to Boyfriend, I'm fairly certain she and I would be soulmates. She even lives over here somewhere!I know you have read Hyperbole and a Half, so I know you are aware of the knife-wielding, swastika-tattooed, death spiders she has blogged about. Re: LIFE points
Double-post!
After having about 8 different jobs, finally having one that lasts long enough to reasonably ask for a raise, asking for the raise, and then getting one:
+200 Max Life Points
Getting a somewhat smaller raise than you'd hoped for:
-50 Life Points
Still getting congratulated by everyone ever:
+100 Life Points
