What happens when My Wife Knows Everything and The Wife Doesn't Know are the names of a pair of racehorses?

You have awesome kids. We already knew that, but it deserves acknowledging again. My kids watch that at least once a day (meaning usually 5 or 6 times) and walk around saying "on my nose!" all the time.

Ginny loves it too. She calls it "Super Grover and the Cow". She's not really aware that there is a regular Grover after discovering Super Grover. My kids watch that at least once a day (meaning usually 5 or 6 times) and walk around saying "on my nose!" all the time.

"Brayden, you bite my nose and then I'll say 'on my nose!' ok?" *bite* "On my nose! Ok, your turn!" *bite* "On my nose!"
And I agree that Ginny is awesome.

Today I pseudo-yelled "BOO" at one of my residents. She yelled BOO right back, automatically. It made me laugh so hard. She's 84 years old and not always very with it, but she was right on the money tonight, and we both had a good laugh. I love doing imitations of "my guys", but hers is a voice I just can't imitate, and that drives me nuts.

1) I didn't even know Rhode Island had such a ridiculous name to begin with.Voters have the opportunity to change the state's official name from "State of Rhode Island and Providence Plantations" to just "Rhode Island."
2) I find it hilarious that they voted by such a large amount (78%) to keep their ridiculously long name.

You don't throw away a name more than three centuries old! You don't see people trying to do away with the Commonwealths!1) I didn't even know Rhode Island had such a ridiculous name to begin with.

Yelling "Toooouuuuucccchhhh!!!" at Rei while he's making scones and complaining about how they're too sticky and weird and he doesn't like the feel of them.

So for the past couple years, in my spare time when I don't have a book at hand or something (like waiting in line or for the bus or something), I've entertained myself thinking up the details to a pirate-themed coffee shop. Anyway, a bunch of us were out for coffee and talking about drink sizes. We came up with "landlubber," "cabin boy," "first mate," and "captain" for XSm, Sm, Lg, XLg, respectively, but we were stuck on medium.
Of course, someone suggested "seaman" which was immediately vetoed as too easy to become inappropriate. And then someone else had to pipe up that it would have to be the name for flavoured steamed milk drinks.
It was horrible and inappropriate but it still made me laugh very hard.

Where they're from? Wow, I could not do that. And I don't know vice presidents at all. Yeah, I pretty much don't know politics and history.Last night my brothers tried to list the Presidents and where they're from in reverse order. I believe this was prompted by trying to remember who FDR's vice presidents were.

They're both big history buffs. I guess what really sparked the conversation was we were watching WWII in HD and it was talking about FDR's funeral and how LBJ had to assume the the presidency after being vice president for only a few days. Ignorant me asked who FDR's vice president was before Johnson which somehow led to presidents and their origins.
Mike's been able to list the presidents and most of the vice presidents forward or backwards for years. He's big on the Civil War and WWII. Tim's more into the political side of things, from colonial times all the way up to the present. One of the few things that makes election season bearable for me is those two debunking politicians and the media who get their facts wrong when referencing historical events and documents.

Well, at Starbucks you can ask for a "short" size which is 8oz, they just don't publicise it. But mostly we were just having fun. Not all of us are cool enough to have a rockin' bunkbed like Brayden and Tyler for reference!

Lyndon B Johnson was Kennedy's vp and had been vp for the better part of three years by that point. They're both big history buffs. Truman was the VP who succeeded FDR, and I can't recall off the top of my head how long he'd been VP. I know FDR changed VPs after his second term, and maybe he did after his third term as well...
Ahh, now I see the confusion, Lincoln changed VPs after his first term to Andrew Johnson, who was from Tennessee, in the hopes of thwarting McClellen's presidential bid by building up support in TN. Lincoln was assassinated a few days after his second inaugural, so Andrew Johnson had only been VP for a few days.
So, Lone Star, now you see that evil will always triumph because good is dumb.

I loved that story! And the picture of the kitty treeing a bear is just hysterical!
