Guess what everybody - in a list of Top 100 Sci-fi novels, Ender's Game was number 1.

What list?
"Deep in the human unconscious is a pervasive need for a logical universe that makes sense. But the real universe is always one step beyond logic."
- Frank Herbert's 'Dune'

After a bit of searching, I found that:

It seems to be this list. But that site could be written by anyone - it doesn't seem that reputable.

It's number 59 on this list, which seems like a better source.
One Duck to rule them all.

It needs to be about 20% cooler.

So much sci-fi I still need to read...

I've only read 22 of the books on that list (14 out of the top 20). I doubt I'll ever be able to call myself well-read in general, but I'd like to think of myself as well-read in the sci-fi genre.

I wouldn't fret too much, I've read like 35 of them, am in the middle of 2 others, but have started at least 5 others that I couldn't get through. So I don't really trust that list...but it was also a nice reminder that I now have overdue Kim Stanley Robinson books...

I'd hardly call a list of the "100 Best Novels" a better source on the best science fiction novels...

ETA: Though there are certainly some science fiction novels which appear above Ender's Game in the "Reader's List."
Step softly; a dream lies buried here.
