You really needn't feel put-upon, DP. JL doesn't really hate newbies; she actually quite likes them. For dinner. You just need to work on where you make your threads, and take heed when the folks in charge of this place make a suggestion. That way you'll look less appetizing, as you will appear less of a newbie.

Newbie haters.
Don't get discouraged. If you keep acting the same for long enough, you're no longer a stupid newbie, but a valuable member with your own delightful quirks. Why, your inanity could become old school in a matter of months!

Meh to everything that is going on right now. There will always be posters whom are anti-mod. I believe I had a period were the mods were holding me down and cramping my style. A lot silly, angry or spammy posters become very good members of the forum. I think some of the biggest contributors to Pweb have been warned or banned at one time or another. I even remember one silly mod-god whom did nothing but post in the Kill This Thread topic.

Basically, people grow the longer they are here. They make friends and such. Then they become the ones who complain about the noobies. If six years of being here has taught me anything, it is that Pweb runs in cycles. (And crashes alot too!).

Anywho..

-Losing
Even though I can accept losing, I hate it. Especially if it's something I really like, and even more if it's something I like, against someone who's (supposedly) worse than me in that thing.
Such as Basketball. I hate losing in Basketball, which normally occurs because of mistakes I make. Thus, I get angry at myself.

-Hail
Somehow, there's snow here only once a year, but hail comes much more often. And that's annoying, because hail hurts. And the most annoying part of this year's hail is that it came on the only day there was snow outside...and interfered with our Snowball fight.

-People who say "Morning" instead of "Good morning" (same goes for "Night" instead of "Good night")
What's the matter, you don't want me to have a good morning, just to have a crappy morning? -_-

I hate my school assignment. I have to write a short story, which is great! but it has to say something about human nature. What the HECK is THAT supposed to mean?

The amateur linguist in me is asking me to say that the dropping of "good" from the expression "good morning" doesn't mean that the meaning changes... just economy of the language. When someone says "morning" they are wishing you a good morning, because they wouldn't wish you a bad morning. So, saying "good" is superfluous, hence it's removed.

Darth Petra, you can write about the human nature of teachers who give such vacuous assignments, and why they do so :D Probably a bad idea if you wish to be on good terms with them as you should, though.

Ditto. And while we're at it, I also hate Pentium 3, 1-Core computers. But that's what I've got.

-When my favorite team plays horribly
No matter which sport is it (though I don't watch American Football)

- - When my favorite team has a great lead, and suddenly drops it
and I'm not talking about the Patriots.

- - - Biology and Chemistry classes
I never understood why the man has to learn about his insides if he doesn't want to be a doctor anyway.

Techno remixes of "The Phantom of the Opera". agfgsfsfhgrw.

Someone recommended an AMV to me with one of those as the music. ...I don't see how anything with that in it could be considered good in any way. I tried watching it, I really did. But after a few seconds I either had to stop or kill something. So, fortunately, I stopped watching it.

I don't know about "the" one, but it is of Memories, yes. Have you seen it? (Memories that is, not the AMV). Looks like the movie itself could be interesting.

Fanservice, and those who seem to think it's a good thing.

Really, if I want porn, I'll watch/read some damn porn. Leave it out of the doggamned otherwise fine show/comic/whatever.

Edit: DVD-only episodes! In the middle of the series! What the hell!
