Thanks for the compliment, but apart from the "regular" stuff which I didn't know about (like, say, return), there were stuff from, I think, the 60's programming languages- just some letters alone which made no sense to me by themselves, so I had to gamble.
It wasn't like C#, Pascal or whatnot, that really looks like Java; it was more like this:

MOV DX, AX
MOV CL, 15
SAR DX, CL
SUB AX, DX
SAR AX, 1

Apparantly, this one's Assembly, which I have no clue about and looks NOTHING like Java.
60's? 60's? This is x86 assembly, and is (unfortunately) quite alive and kicking, my friend. But yeah, Java's about as far away as you can get from that, on the high-level/low-level scale. Heh, I guess it's not much help there.

Assembly is rough. I took a digital logic class a year ago, and I still have the scars.

When I admitted myself to the psych hospital a year and a half ago, my former best friend made me a care basket including a bathrobe and a stuffed animal. I've been using the bathrobe ever since and still had hung on to the stuffed animal, despite the devastating way our friendship ended.

This week I bought a new bathrobe that is WAY nicer. I threw out the old one AND threw out the stuffed animal. Good riddance.

I am renting my own car. Using my own credit card.

Due to, well, a lot of rather embarrassing issues, my credit is horrific. So, anyways, I finally got a secured credit card. It arrived today.

It's such a rush.

Not too much of one, though. Basically, I only got it in order to be able to rent the car. After interviews, I plan to lock it up safely away from easy access.

But still. It is nice not to have to beg my parents for a credit card number. Ah, that heady rush of independence. I thought I'd gotten beyond those.

I ran for 20 minutes and didn't stop. Ran about 4 kilometers there, though in a slow pace. AWESOME! =)

I bested the Housing Office at its own twisted, little game. They didn't want to give me the $500 they owe me, thanks to their own faulty paperwork; but now they're going to. Because I'm awesome.

I got done with every chore I set out to do today. All I have left is an hour of homework and an hour of dissertation work and I'll be good to go. Oh, and shopping on the way home.

The fact that my friends and I made the Baby Shark camp song last for 25 minets because we kept adding new verses.

I finally completed a whole semester of school last year. Like, was there for almost every class! I haven't done that since I was 15!(so that's like 8 years!)

And Petra? It's not that the rest of us don't understand that kind of accomplishment (the baby shark song)... it's just that we DO understand it. And pity you. j/k :D

You have angered Darth Petra. Beware my Mass Destruction device!

We also made up new verses to "Old Mcdonald had a farm". I pity the driver of the car.

I got me some youtube honours.
One of my videos on YouTube (if anyone cares, a re-upload of The Lion King's "Can You Feel the Love Tonight") has over 750,000 views.

That's freaking awesome.

Oh, and I also found time to return to PWeb, despite the huge amount of tests going on right now (about 3 per week, and the reading material, for ALL of them, is since the beginning of the year..). That's also a triumph.

Well, one of the non-particeapating person was driving, so she was to busy/mature to particapate.

And we tried to make the other non-participating person sing along, but she wouldn't...

Tonight I'm reading from my novel to an audience of 60+ at Kettle of Fish.
you snooze, you lose
well I have snozzed and lost
I'm pushing through
I'll disregard the cost
I hear the bells
so fascinating and
I'll slug it out
I'm sick of waiting
and I can
hear the bells are
ringing joyful and triumphant

Congrats, Tara!

I've managed 49 (pretty lazy) pushups on the test, and got myself a 90- probably the highest score I'm going to get this year in Sports.

True, but I didn't think that people would appreciate it if I started a whole new thread called, "those personal triumphs that no one (but Alea) understands". :P
