As seen on hatrack, this is the coolest thing ever. Which way is she spinning?

Yeah, I'm confused. Definitely looks clockwise to me. Moreover, I can't even force myself to see it any other way.

Mostly counter-clockwise. After imagining what it would look like for her to be going clockwise, I could see it. But every time I go back to it, I see it counter-clockwise first. But, I can switch at will, now. This is cool! Thanks for the link.

I'm trying to see it anti-clockwise, but it's just not happening for me.

I was able to see her going both ways but it was tough to get my brain to switch back & forth. I only accomplished it by concentrating on some other task for a few minutes. On a side note, while looking for points of dimension to help me out I noticed this poor woman is awfully cold.

Well, I naturally see clockwise, but after a while I found that I could switch if I focus on the legs; particularly when they appear to overlap. Sometimes I can switch at will, but sometimes I still need to concentrate.

Naturally I see clockwise, but I find I can switch pretty easily if I focus on her foot.

I started out only clockwise, but after trying to focus on something else 5 different times I was able to switch to counter clockwise.

I needed to have the image on the screen and focus on the white part so she was spinning in my peripheral vision, with that trick I can make her change directions with little thought.

I've finally managed to get her to turn anti-clockwise. But it takes me a lot of effort to see that.

I find that if I realize that it is a 2D picture, then I could switch but not so much at will.

Another interesting thing is our first impression. Does it mean anything or have any correlation?

After some practice, that's the situation for me, as well. ^_^

So I'm more right-brained oriented since I see clockwise naturally? That's weird, because I match the left-brain characteristics more than the right.

I showed the image to my brother, and he had trouble picking a direction because he said it looked like it kept switching spontaneously.

According to to line separating her legs in frame 13 she is spinning anti/counterclockwise.

I'm with Ollie, all I see is clockwise. But I'll have 8 eight hours to stare at this while at work, so if I don't get it by then, I am never going to get it.

Another day, another dollar, and now I can see her spinning counter-clockwise. However, the insubordinate hag won't go the other way. Apparently, I have no control over it whatsoever.

Well, so far I can't see it any way other than clockwise.

It took a lot of effort to make her go counterclockwise... Though, now I can just make her turn back and forth rather than make a circle. Which is fun.

It helps if you move your head in the direction you want her to go.

It helps if you move your head in the direction you want her to go.
Or, in my case, in the direction you don't want her to continue going in; When I turn my head sharply to the right, she starts spinning to my left- AKA, clockwise- and vice versa, though this doesn't work all the time.

Try blinking when she's at the point where it's as if you looked at her from the side, or very close to that point. That's what I do, and it works, for me at least.

Clockwise. Definitely clockwise. I hate these things. I can never make them work the way they're supposed to. My verizon phone, when it's holding or making me wait has arrows supposedly going forwards in a counter-clockwise circle, but I can only see that rarely with a lot of concentration. Normally they look like they're going backwards, clockwise.

I've always known I was very right brained, though.

That's my conclusion, too. Screw it. She's going clockwise and we're either witnessing a conspiracy or a mass hallucination.
