Saw the news this morning. Pretty stoked, I gotta say.

But I hear that they'll only release StarCraft 2 after Ghost comes out!

...

That's a... I'm joking.

I saw that yesterday, I was so excited. It looks just amazing, and this is blizzard, so we know it's going to be good.
The Makeout Hobo is real, and does indeed travel around the country in his van and make out with ladies... If you meet him, it is customary to greet him with a shot of whiskey and a high five (if you are a dude) or passionate makeouts (if you are a lady).

I'm trying to decide whether the fact that most of it looks the basically the same (the main difference being 3D instead of isometric 2D) is a good thing or bad.

Of course, I'm also wondering what the hell some of these new things are.

Marines look kinda silly with shields.

Look, a Sarlacc monster!

That's awesome! I've been waiting for Starcraft 2 for so long, I never thought it would come. Wow. Any word on a possible release date or year?

Salaam

As long as the Protoss still have those big huge ships that s*** out loads little fighter ships I'll be happy.

(Though marines with shields? Take ye back to the drawing board.)

Damn, I remember playing StarCraft in high school. This may be the excuse I've been looking for to slap down some cash for a gameworthy desktop.

I thought it was more of the same, too. And then I watched the gameplay videos.

I believe I said "Wow. They better not do something before this comes out that completely screws it up." Of course, all it pretty much shows is Protoss. But still.

There appears to be a black hole weapon.

There appear to be Carriers in the artwork trailer.

I'm currently downloading the gameplay trailer. Maybe that'll show 'em in action.

Those could not be marines, but a new defensive unit of its own.
