Cleo has gone to Heaven, because as children's movies taught us All Dogs Go to Heaven.
Here she is this morning laying on my bed giving me get the cell phone out of my face eyes...




And I was tooling around on pweb looking at my old post and found a link to an online album I'd forgotten about with Cleo's first baby picture in it...


I'm going to miss her so much.

Every time I go into Photobucket, I see pictures of my dog when she was a puppy and I can't help but start 1) talking to the picture like she can hear me and 2) gushing over how adorable she was and beautiful she now is.

She was such a gorgeous little sausage with a bald little belly and the most precious face. I'm so excited to see my babies in a few weeks.

Yeah, you know how there are those women who see babies and their ovaries go into hyperdrive and all they can think/talk about/want is a baby? I'm kind of like that now with dogs. I see one and my brain shouts "Puppy!" even if it's a full grown dog and I start thinking about how awesome it'd be to have mine with me and where I'd take them and how we'd cuddle on the couch or whatever.

Holy s***, me too. I spent all weekend with my friend's family and her mom's relatively-new puppy and that was what I was screaming in my head constantly.

So the place I used to live the guy got a puppy, he travels 70-80% of the year (why'd you get a dog???) So I raised her, trained her, she slept with me, and I go over and walk her and take her to dog parks and stuff as much as I can (especially when he's out of town, the other roommates don't do much with her So I step in!) So I can't have her, she's not technically my pet, but She's the love of my life and will always be "my" dog. This is Kai.

I posted this on FB but for anyone who missed it, this is a 5 week old kitten that Pheeny met at the vet. Pheeny was a little grumpy because she had to get a shot of antibiotics.

Let it eat all of your shoes and the kids toys and put a claw through your laptop and poop on stuff and steal food from the counter. Seems to have worked on my parents after my brother got a puppy. Maybe only because half of the stuff that got destroyed was mine.

Just let him become part of your family. learn his personality and let him love you guys! How is he doing? Is he destructive or pretty mellow? How is he with the kids? From the picture you posted he looks pretty happy.

I've always been a dog (or animal in general) person, so i'm not sure how to become one. Although to be completely honest, the smaller the dog, the less likely I am to grow attached. I am not a little dog person at all (the bigger the better!).

I'm not a dog person either but I'm the opposite, the smaller the better for me. My mom's dog (Maltese) is the only dog I really love and will even let kiss me on the face. She is almost like a cat.

Once ya fall in love with them you become a dog person, just guard your swag or put it up out of reach for a while. It wouldn't be home without my pack of evil girl-devil wiener dogs barking n howling when I show up. I always had hunting dogs growing up and would never have believed I would tolerate little dogs around me until I fell in love with this little tiny red wiener dog girl from a friends wife that breeds them. That great pup "Lexie" was the finest pup on earth and the mother to the ones we have now. Keep em healthy n happy and they will be the most trusted pal..

Wet had to put Pheeny to sleep today. I feel like she was almost a pweb mascot, I've been posting pictures of her since I got her in 2006! Anyway, she was 11 years old. She had such a calm, sweet personality and was gentle enough for the grabbiest of small children to play with. She brought much joy to my life during some very difficult times. I hope she had a happy life. I will miss her very much.
