Also, I refuse to actually watch myself. Because that's just weird. Absolutely hate it.

The encounter could create a time paradox, the results of which could cause a chain reaction that would unravel the very fabric of the space time continuum and destroy the entire universe! Granted, that's a worse case scenario. The destruction might in fact be very localized, limited to merely our own galaxy.

What do y'all call these?

And this?

My family calls them both spatulas, with scraper being used for the former sometimes.

My family calls both spatulas, as well, and if we needed to clarify, we'd call them a "mixing" vs. "flipping" spatula.

Both spatulas for me. Sometimes the black one might get called a "flipper".

Both spatulas in general. May use scraper if I'm asking someone to hand it to me and am specifying.

I have this sudden jonesing for TV-as-background-noise, only I don't have even basic, local channels and Netflix wouldn't quite do the trick in the same way.

The incredible stupidity of some of the ultra-conservative articles/photos/etc. people post of facebook makes me think I should really get off that site. I'm sure the ultra-liberal ones probably get just as stupid, but I haven't lived anywhere that is even remotely blue so I don't see many of those. The ability to stalk everyone I have ever known and then some might not be worth it.

As someone who falls in neither of those groups, I can say it definitely goes both ways. Some of my libertarian friends post pretty dumb stuff too, and I *want* to agree with them. I just block the worst offenders from my news feed.

I've blocked a few people from my news feed. I don't like to, but if I'm learning more about their (irritating) political views than their lives, I do it.

I subject Alea and Nomi to all sorts of my crazy views. On the other hand, I try to mostly post links to full articles written in intelligent and comprehensible English, instead of internet-speak snarky images. I like to think that helps.

I even read some of them! :P (I do enjoy the science articles you post.)

I have only blocked one person for political reasons, so you have to post some pretty obnoxious stuff to get me to block (general) you.

See, I wouldn't mind thoughtful articles articulating a point of view different from mine. The people I block are all snarky image heavy.

Nah. If someone had just told me that when it's cold out, frost develops on the grass and trees and it looks like the world is covered in glitter, and icicles form, I'd have been a fan of winter long ago.

Though, my face resents the hell out of the cold. I need a ninja/ski/terrorist mask.

I have an awesome badger-themed balaclava that my mom made me for halloween when I was in my Redwall phase. Most people mistake it for a skunk, but I can turn it inside out for plain black and have the furry part on my face if I want to be discreet.

LilBee (on spatulas): the second image is of a spatula. The first image is a set of scrapers (which I & the girl both like to call rubber policemen).
