What's your personality color?
I had to go to a conference for work last week and sit through sessions that were mostly entertaining, for a certain definition of entertaining (read: not boring or pointless enough to put me to sleep like the keynote speaker did), but ultimately not terribly useful. One of the sessions I attended was one of the many personality decoder type things that are out there and while I don't think it's complete bunk, I don't know how much I really believe in it the way it is presented.
But enough of that. Let's have some fun with it, shall we? Below are the four main personality types/colors, as presented to me at this conference. We are all supposed to be one of them. We may exhibit others while at work, for instance, but we're supposed to, at our core, be only one.
Now, it would be easy enough to come in, read these, pick one for ourselves, and move along to the next thread but I think we should do this a little differently.
For round one, just leave a post saying you are interested in having someone else guess which of these best represent you and in a spoiler (which no one will cheat and look at), put down how you see yourself. Use either yellow, *blue*, **red*, or *green. Asterisks or some other character added, for a total of 6, so that it's not obvious when someone just types in "red" under a spoiler.
Round two will be everyone guessing for all the other people who expressed interest in round one, with guesses also spoilered.
Round three will be the big reveal, that is, seeing who got the most correct guesses.
The timeline will be dependent on whether or not there is any interest and when said interest tapers off.
I, of course, am in.
My color (as I see myself): *blue*

Re: What's your personality color?
Hmm... while I agree that I don't think there's any way that *all* people fit into four categories, and I can see bits of myself in all of those, I think that the one colour I am most like is:
*green*
*green*

Re: What's your personality color?
Oh man I hate picking these for myself. I would definitely be interested in someone picking for me, but I have a feeling they would pick the one that I only feel 50% inclinded I match, which is:
gre*en
That was fun, I never spoiler things.

I'm in! It was a really tough choice though, because I see myself in a lot of them...

Re: What's your personality color?
Ok, me too.
This was pretty difficult, though. I had a hard time chosing just one.

you snooze, you lose
well I have snozzed and lost
I'm pushing through
I'll disregard the cost

so fascinating and
I'll slug it out
I'm sick of waiting
and I can
hear the bells are
ringing joyful and triumphant

Nope. The two I kinda' fit in both also have aspects that are definitely not me. So, I'm breaking this down.

Did anything ever happen with this, or can I cheat and look under the spoiler tags now?

Closest to: *********green**********, but it still doesn't really fit.

Since I don't know any of you yet, I've just been reading the spoilers. Pretty interesting to see those breakdowns and how we identify ourselves. And since none of you know me yet, I won't bother with the spoiler. While none are perfect matches, I think I am mostly GREEN

Re: What's your personality color?
Oops; I got annoyed by something that week (yes, I am sad enough to know what annoyed me that very week...) and then forgot to come back to this.
Round 2:
My guesses:
Jan - Yellow
Mich - Yellow-Green
Nomi - *Blue*
Fred - Red-Green
Kelly - *Red**
Chris - Blue-Green
Josh - Green*
Elf - Yellow
I'm going to go out on a limb, even though I don't know JPW all that well, and guess - Green*
P.S. Some of you were too hard to narrow it down, so I cheated and hyphened my answers.

Re: What's your personality color?
Under emotional needs: affection/touching and acceptance as-is would fit.Elf - Yellow
Under fears: definitely been there/done that with the unpopular/ignored thing, but not really afraid of it.
But other than that, not really Yellow

You got me, Alea. I can't even begin to guess others. I'm just no good at it, sorry!

Re: What's your personality color?
But yeah, that's pretty much the ones I hinge between on the grand scale. Probably why I get equal-parts Fluttershy and Pinkie Pie in quizzes, actually, with a healthy dose of Twilight.
