Re: Dear Diary/Journal/Bob 3.0
Hey Bob! I get to bring Julie home sometime aroound noon ! She is doing fine and the Dr. sez no cancer! Main thing is (of course) is she is in great spirits and bouncing back fast but I'm still in a daze I can't believe this all happened as it did and so fast. If I ever lost her I just would die! I am damn proud to see how well my kids buck up and get and stick together at a time like this when I think I faltered a bit.

Buckshot, I'm SO glad your wife is doing well and gets to come home soon. I'm sure she will love driving her new bug around once she gets back on her feet. I just want you to know that you and your family have been in my thoughts and I'm so happy the things seem to be getting better.

Donny got a job! Full time! Benefits! Low pay but beats unemployment. Thank God. We had no idea what we were going to do this month, even for rent.

HOORAY, HOORAY! ALL THE HUGS FOR YOU!
you snooze, you lose
well I have snozzed and lost
I'm pushing through
I'll disregard the cost
I hear the bells
so fascinating and
I'll slug it out
I'm sick of waiting
and I can
hear the bells are
ringing joyful and triumphant

Re: Dear Diary/Journal/Bob 3.0
Well, I'd say this is the best news of the day, but it has to compete with Buckshot's "No Cancer" news, so it's at the very least an extremely close second.Donny got a job! Full time! Benefits! Low pay but beats unemployment. Thank God. We had no idea what we were going to do this month, even for rent.
Oh wait, Buckshot's news was from yesterday, and yours is from today! You win!

Re: Dear Diary/Journal/Bob 3.0
Well Prolly midyear ill have bought out my ex on the house. Then the only tie will be the dogs. Woo! So I feel alright about putting money into the house this year. Maybe a new garage door and a tree. Mowed for the first time of the year and raked. Feeling good.
Georgien administered a clinical level IQ test on me this morning. I topped out on a couple sections so she needs to do a couple more calculations yet but as of yet I'm a 133. Putting me in the low end of the highest category on the scale they use at her work. Said only about 5% of the population score that high. Need to work on my working memory and processing speed though. I only scored upper average in those categories. She's been administering the test professionally for a few years now. And I'm apparently such a smart ass that she's been curious what my IQ is for a while now. So I'm feeling pretty good. Though I also feel a little like an under achiever.
Georgien has a year yet of school before she becomes a doctor. But she is doing a practicum right in town. Anyway, apparently the Dr. who owns the practice she's training at likes her so much that he offered her his practice cuz he wants to retire. So like 2 years, when she completes all her training she inherits a practice. I mean that's HUGE.
I'm very proud of her.
