"Ender's Game" videogame placed on indefinite hold

Postby UnnDunn » Tue Dec 14, 2010 11:33 pm

You may or may not have heard that Chair Entertainment was making a videogame adaptation of Ender's Game, based on the zero-G wargames in the Battle School.

Well, that game has been placed on indefinite hold, meaning that it is essentially dead, unless another studio picks it up.

Chair Entertainment has long been twined with OSC. Their founders' previous company, GlyphX Games, was responsible for Advent Rising--a game written by OSC. Chair Entertainment itself also developed Shadow Complex, a game based in OSC's Empire universe.

Personally, I wasn't all that enthused about a Chair-developed Ender's Game game, nor did I like the fact that it was to be based on zero-g Battle School combat. But whatever.
