Inventors of the Descolada.
Does anyone know if OSC is planning on explaining what these Descolada Inventors are?

No news. I'm pretty sure he's not even working on the project, yet. I just know that it's set after Children of the Mind and is supposed to tie up (and tie in) the loose ends of both series. Given that a significant portion of Children of the Mind involves the descoladores and there are loose plot-ends involving them, it's only logical to assume Shadows in Flight will address (some of) them.
Step softly; a dream lies buried here.

Shadows in Flight is a yet-to-be-published science fiction novel by Orson Scott Card, which will link the Shadow Series back to the Ender Saga.
Very little about the book is known at this time; Card has announced it, but it is not known how much work he has done on this novel or even whether he has started it. Card has stated explicitly that Shadows in Flight will wrap up some of the plot threads left dangling in Shadow of the Giant. In an interview with SciFi.com, he also established that Flight would pick up where Children of the Mind (the final book in the Ender quartet) left off.[1]

my say on descoladores
I have read all of the books and am a huge fan of not only the ender and shadow series's but also worthing saga. And after i finished children of the mind i was ubsessed with trying to figure out what the descoladores were. Then when i finished shadows in flight an idea sprung on me.
What if the Descaladores are Bean's descendants?
Bean's original mission was to find new planets... and there were boys and girls on bored. Petra even joked about it in shadow puppets. The descaladores are obviously geniusus in order to invent the descolada. Wouldn't Beans Genes inbreeding cause such a species to exist?
I have no proof, but i like the idea.

Is what i say here really going to change anything?

Can't be. The Descolada was affecting life on Lusitania since long before Bean existed.
