Another Introduction

Postby JohnPaulWiggin » Mon Aug 06, 2012 12:16 pm

Hi everyone. I've been snooping around these message boards on occassion for a few years now. Finally decided I might as well register and say hello. I'm 27, originally from California. I had never heard of Ender or OSC until a junior-year college english course when a classmate did a report on Ender's Game. I was intrigued, bought the book, and immediately was hooked on the entire series. I've gotten a few friends to pick them up, and they've all read the entire series as well. To my knowledge, I've read everything in the Enderverse except for the comics, and Earth Unaware which should be arriving in the mail today or tomorrow.

Heya! So glad to have you as part of the Pweb family. Stick around, don't let us intimidate you, and have fun. :)

If you don't mind my asking, whereabouts in CA are you from? I used to live in southern California for a few years as a little person and still have family in San Diego.

Ah, I've never been that far north. I hear it's lovely, though.

Also, don't take the silence here to mean anything. Most folks don't remember anything exists but Milagre. :)

'Tis true.

Welcome to Pweb! Feel free to jump in wherever and I hope you stick around! We're a pretty nice bunch once you get to know us.
I used to hate gravity because it would not let me fly. Now I realize it is gravity that lets me stand.

Hi! :) Welcome to pweb! :hatsoff: I too was a lurker for years before joining, and then had a couple stretches of lurkitude since then as well.

My husband is from Santa Cruz, moved here about 15 years ago. We go there to visit every couple years, flying into San Jose. :)

Santa Cruz is great, I lived in Monterey for a couple years just down the coast. I'm very excited, going home to San Jose for a wedding this weekend. And I'm the best man!
