Picture of me from over the summer, when i went with my folks up to the Sierra Nevada's.

Can I be an extended NY girl...does upstate count?
Ooh! Oooh! Me too, me too? I have a picture that proves it!... I guess... there's a map of NY in the background anyway.

That's me playing my guitar Jimmy Page style with my friend's violin bow.

And for kicks, one from a trip to NYC this summer -- me and my best friend with the cute greeter-person at FAO Schwartz. It was way too hot for that outfit, I don't know how he survived.

Edit: Oh yeah, the postings on the map... that's my dorm lounge, and the pins are where all residents on our floor are from. Were from. (That was last year.)

Tonight went out to demand candy from strangers while dressed as Amanda Palmer, except I didn't have time to put any makeup on.

When I returned, my roommate harassed me until she had about fifty billion pictures of me. These are some.
If you ever find yourself reading a book entitled The Bible, you will find yourself reading the story of Adam and Eve, whose daring lives led them to put on clothing for the first time to escape from the snake infested garden in which they were living.

you snooze, you lose
well I have snozzed and lost
I'm pushing through
I'll disregard the cost
I hear the bells
so fascinating and
I'll slug it out
I'm sick of waiting

hear the bells are
ringing joyful and triumphant

i knoooooooooooooow!!!!!!!!!!!!!! it's awful!!!!!!!!!

the dress isn't mine! i borrowed it from a girl more...comfortable with her body than i am with mine. i'm usually buttoned-up, boring, and brainy. but... oops.

it's like that in EVERY picture i've got. even the blotch-face ones. it's ridiculous.

THIS conversation happened totally within my earshot (please remember that i've known the bride and her family very well for over a decade):

Bride's Father: Who's that girl?
Bride's Mother: That's Kelly.
Bride's Father: THAT'S Kelly?!
Bride's Mother: Of course!
Bride's Father: ...when did she get tits?!

color me MORTIFIED. my sister insists that if i dressed girlish more often, this wouldn't freak me out so much. i have my doubts...

(um, also? i'm an A. the dress must have some, like, secret mirage feature).

I want a dress with secret mirage features. Only, the opposite of yours.

Kelly, i think i am falling in love with you.... Nerdy (in a good way) girls are so hard to find in kansas....

Anyway, this just in: I HAVE A MOHAWK!

Well, over the last several years, my hair line has been slowly moving back. Not as bad as other people ive known, but its def starting to look a bit thin, so ive considered shaving it for a while now.

well, i worked up the guts to actually do it this weekend, and just for the heck of it, i decided to keep the mohawk just for fun... for a while at least. Im an architecture student, so it doesnt pay to stick out of the crowd too much, but i thought it would be a fun experement...

anyway, i actually really like it... well except for the whole kansas winter thing.... brrrrrr

Hehe, only at Buckingham palace... at FAO Schwartz they're awesome  (although on a side note, when I go to London I definitely can't wait to be a jackass to the guards)

Oh no, those guys must go through so much torture daily! When I went to London(in above picture) I couldn't make myself look at all the tourist torture...and being from New York, I know how annoying tourists can be.
