Really what we need is to have OSC to get the book out that combines Ender and Bean's story archs back together. That way people have a place to come looking for more who like what we like.

So I've lurked and watched and now wondered...now that we have a movie for our beloved (and maybe a tv show for shadow series) Ender's Game universe...what is there now for our community? Less and less of us are on here it seems, so where do we look ahead too? What are we waiting for now? Video Game?

simply put the movie was good, but if you have read the book then you'll hate it. You know like most books to movies. The cartoon movie was closer to the book then this live action movie buuuut they added in more about the other characters and for me I liked seeing told.

ya I now have Xenocide, CotM, and working on Ender's Game for audible. Wife want's to go back from the beginning and re-hear them from the beginning instead of just re-picking up the book. Still agreed expensive.

Funny, I was just discussing this with a friend. His favorite book is Xenocide, whereas I lost interest halfway through on my first reading. I've learned to love it more, but I still prefer CotM. I think it had to do with Qing Jao and Wang Mu, and something with the pacing about 1/4 of the way thro...

well considering that I have not read first meeting nor the other "pre-ender's game" stories, I'd say start with Ender's Game and work through his story {EG, Speaker, Xeno, etc}. Then look at the other stories in the verse. That way you get a feel for the whole universe from the beginning ...
