I went back and looked at the link I was referring to - it was a signed copy of the book, so that's probably why it was so expensive..

I, too, am having trouble figuring out what this could be. I think the ant-farm thought is a good idea. It also looks a little bit like Ender studying the layouts of the tunnels in formic home planets? Side note - I think this is a really cool version of the book and decided I would buy it also. Tur...

I wonder if the Descoladores planet was created by beans kids after Shadow's in flight, seeing as they worked in DNA, and they kept their brains.
