Re: Complete Randomness

So, it's late at night. Me and some friends are at the McDonalds. We order, and then pull up to the first window. No one is at the window, so after a little bit, we proceed to the next window. The girl at the window finishes something, and then says, "You guys were supposed to pay at the first...

Re: Those Personal Triumphs No One Else Will Ever Understand

Grocery shopping is done, dishes are done (both pre- and post-cooking sets) and a dish that will feed me for a few days is in the oven. I feel accomplished . Seriously...I'm with you on feeling accomplished. Hate it when ive spent my whole day off cleaning and doing laundry...then husband walks in ...

Re: Halloween 2010

I just threw up a little watching that... Ugh. The only thing worse than onions was that time my husband said "smell this meat and see if it's bad." It was. :bash: On the bright side I scared the bejeebs out of some kids too old to trick or treat with my Krueger glove and get up....

Re: How about that weather, then, eh?

It's gone from 70s and 80s temps here to snow in some surrounding towns. :/ a friend of my moms asked a girl in a grocery store if the rapture had happened bc NO ONE was out. I found it humorous but here in the bible belt jokes like that are found funny by few. I hope that the storm victims are doin...

I think my favorite was in..uh...shadow of the hegemon? (I'm a little scrambled since I've been reading them all again for the first time in years) when Achilles has the kidnapped battle schoolers and he gives some order or ultimatum...to which someone "farts loudly" in response.

Yeah...I gotta say... I was introduced to this book by a member of my church. At age 11.

And I just turned out to be an insatiable curse word-using sex addict.
You know... Bc of all the nudity and language in the barracks.

I gotta say, I'm thinking that the utility deck g has something to do with where bean came out in the air ducts. That was how he knew it was safe to emerge and wouldn't be caught.
Anybody agree? I just read Enders shadow for the 500th time and that's the first thing that came to mind.
