I agree with Locke. OSC also uses a child as the commander because adults see something they immediately deem impossible and don't try. Children are more creative, try things that seem impossible until they figure it out (unless it really is impossible). I think the Giant's Drink game reflects this ...

Mere Christianity

i really really really liked Treasure Box.
and Lost Boys made me cry. :(
At times I think the Alvin Maker series is extremely boring but has occasional good aspects.
but that's just me.
enchantment was cute too :).

i dont think anything tops the enderverse though.

I was forced to read it in seventh grade for a class assignment. I reread it my freshman year and then the entire series. I have currently read every story in the Enderverse produced by Orson Scott Card (that I know of), including the ones written in the IGMS online mag thingy. I'm a senior in high ...

Chuck Palahniuk

Chuck Palahniuk is a fantastic author and has written great reads such as: Fight Club, Choke, Lullaby, Diary, Survivor, Haunted... He's a bit twisted but amazing and always has original ideas that you've never read before. Never. Right now my favorite book is A Clockwork Orange, by Anthony Burgess, ...
