Obviously, "how we are raised" has some repercussions on later attitudes and actions, and sex/sexuality/masturbation is no different. The difficult part is determining what that effect will be! As you made clear, both friends grew up in very different households, but eventually ended up ve...

If you use the word "than" when you mean "then" and it wasn't a typo, I will judge you and quite severely. I recognize that this is a relatively trivial item and I will not be outwardly mean to you, but I'm always keeping score in my head. This is not something I'm proud of. My ...

Okay. Talking about something in class doesn't necessarily make it acceptable discussion in "polite society." I'll bet the teacher got more than a few giggles from the students, some perhaps even uncomfortable ones. The way I was taught, if you wouldn't say it in front of your grandma, you...

Judgment (and hence responsibility) is at most only half intellectual, the other half being emotional. And at 11, even a genius has a lot of development left in both... otherwise we wouldn't have age requirements, we'd have IQ requirements or knowledge requirements instead. (Of course, age requireme...

I would say "it's impossible to make a 'real' lightsabre (like in the SW movies)" but people were probably saying the same thing about "communicators" and such from Star Trek... and look now at cellphones. So, perhaps YOU will be the one to make the leap and invent the impossible...

We have a dissenter! Someone disagrees that phone sex is cheating! (Or at least, so says the poll... where's the comment, though?) Does anyone think that sometimes our values are a little mixed up? I mean, in the US (and Canada?), it's okay for a 14-year old to see/know gory details of murder, blood...

I have a couple questions, does anyone here think masturbation is a form of cheating when you have an S.O. with whom you are sexually active? Invasive Procedures

Okay, while roaming the store, I came across a new OSC book entitled "Invasive Procedures." I didn't see anything here on P-web about it (at least not in THIS forum, and nothing turned up in my search). He co-wrote it with Aaron Johnston. George Galen is a brilliant scientist, a pioneer in...

Just to set the record straight, I have nothing (personally) against pornography (or phone sex, although the appeal of that eludes me, for the same reasons Wil said). Then again, I'm single, so right now it could hardly be considered "cheating." But even in a relationship, I can't seem to ...

To illustrate: Is fantasizing about someone else (especially while "entertaining yourself") being unfaithful? If so, then I'd have to say that viewing porn is also a form of cheating... one normally views porn to "escape" (or expand?) the relationship you are in and there is a go...

I guess that's why they had to include a "non-lethal laser" mode for this model. Normal rifles don't quite weigh 30 pounds, so the whack is a little less traumatic than this beast's would be.
