It would only take me four clicks and five keystrokes, but what's the point?

Kick your feet up. Take an excursion off the path to smell the wildflowers.

And, hey. How are ya?

10,000 posts takes a while, the pace this board moves. Unless you spam a lot or play all the games incessantly. Option A gets you banned, option B just makes everyone look at you with mild disinterest.

Hi Threender, welcome to Pweb. :)

Don't worry, even with the posts wipes in the game room and the frequent board crashes, you should be to 10k posts in a decade or two.

*nod* My first three years, I was able to get 1000 posts a year (much to the annoyance of some people for at least the first year). This past year...I think I'm sitting at ~200-400.

I was about to hit my 1000th post on Fresco before it went down, and I had been there for five... no, six years. So good luck! You've already achieved 7.

Haha, so true. I was almost exactly 5000 posts when the boards went down last year, so roughly 1000 per year, and that was before we were wiping games posts.

If I could fix it, zona, I would. And I'd put my own back, too.

Yeah... ten grand is gonna take a LONG time. I'm at about 2,400 / yr right now although I missed two months due to a ban.... so yeah.

BTW, hbc, the two options aren't mutually exclusive ;)

But if you hope to reach 10k in this thread alone... good luck. I doubt it will happen any time soon.

I value a combination of the two. I'm working on the first, and I've got the second.

Aw crap. I meant EL, not HBC. Sorry.

I thought about starting a new thread, because I wanted to note "little daily happiness" things, but we don't really need anymore Dear Diary threads.

So in this thread I am going to post things I feel like saying that aren't really worth a new thread and don't quite fit any of the existing ones.

Today my hair is long enough for a proper braid. I'm happy about this.

I haven't been able to for slightly over four years. This wasn't a problem for most of that time, but a little while back I realised it was growing and I liked it. But I couldn't braid it, and I used to braid my hair every single day when it was long.

Yeah, Ali, you dedicated hair-grower, you. :D
you snooze, you lose
well I have snozzed and lost
I'm pushing through
I'll disregard the cost
I hear the bells
so fascinating and
I'll slug it out
I'm sick of waiting
and I can
hear the bells are
ringing joyful and triumphant

Me, since it takes literally no effort at all, and I don't exactly focus much.
Guys, my school is having an argument over what to use for the web development team: Mac or PC. What do you think?
I think it's a lot easier to read sentences with punctuation.

Web development as in server-side processing? What the hell does it matter what platform the devs use?

...for writing PHP/Perl/Python/Ruby/whatever? You don't need "tools" for that more than a freakin text editor.

Well we could make this more interesting and say that when we reach the 10,000 posts. We can say it's a petition to get the government to make computer gaming as a world wide sport!

I don't like computer gaming. Except puzzle games, like Tetris.

So I won't be signing any petitions. But I will update about my hair: still braidable!
