Having a great idea for a thread, and forgetting it. Dang.

Fitted sheets.

I swear I didn't invite a circus into bed last night but when I woke up, my sheets were gone. After some groggy investigating, I found they were still fitted to the feet end of my bed but otherwise hanging on the ground.

I've stopped even tucking my bottom sheet in around the mattress, because it doesn't even make it through the night.

I've wound up with all my covers on the floor more times than I care to admit, (or the regular sheet on the floor but quilt and comforter still there, or more weirdly the middle layer (quilt) on the floor and sheet and comforter still there) but never have I managed to knock a fitted sheet off a bed.

Fitted sheets.
I absolutely hate fitted sheets! I can't sleep knowing the corner by my head is coming loose. I will literally make Will get out of bed so I can fix the sheets before I am able to actually fall asleep (i've had to wake him up a couple of times).

Waking up early because of construction. Honestly, I'm bitchy enough without the messed up sleep; let's finish up because the people who have to deal with me won't last another week.

Waking up early because of construction.

Smashing my hand into a door or something. Happened too fast, don't even remember what I did. But F*** it hurts!

Sore left heel, I think I may have done something too enthusiastically a week or two ago that my achilles tendon did not like.

I hate when on the first day of classes you set your alarm for 8 am after having gone to bed at 3am, and your dream about being late for class, and you wake up every 20 minutes freaking out that the alarm didn't go off.

Burning yourself on a molten chocolate chip that is supposed to be part of a delicious, non-burny cookie.

The fact that I can't get my hands on The Wise Man's Fear excerpt, The Road To Levinshir, and it's going to be almost a year till the book comes out. And the excerpts been out for a couple of years.

Well, there's actually two.

One he had up somewhere, that he took down in 2008, because he revised the chapter.
Just today, I google searched it and found it at another site.
It's extremely boring and not worth reading. Nicknamed- the boring one.

Another called the Road To Levinshir that he used to win the Writers of the Future competition in 2002.
It lies hidden in a chapter of a book called Subterranean: Tales of Dark Fantasy, which is a collection of different short stories.
According to what I've heard from different people, it shows Kvothe in his bad*ss stage of life. Both after his flashbacks in the first book and before his actual time at the inn. And he does some bad*ss things that show more why people fear him as a myth.
(Might not be an actual excerpt of the book, but a depiction of him around the stages he'll be in in the book)

$50?! Oh man. You know what though? I'd be willing to go halfsies, or thirsies, or fourthsies with someone if we could all agree to share the book.

It's 50 dollars where?

And how might we manage doing that, splitting it over the internet?

Ebay. Mail it around so everyone can read it. Or something. I'm not sure who would get to keep the book. I didn't think this out very well. :P

If you two want to pool $50, I'd be happy to buy two copies of WotF #18, send them your way, and keep the remaining $42.

THINGS I HATE - MUSCLE CRAMPS!!!

That was the most excruciating 3 minutes of my life. It felt like my hamstring exploded from my ass to the back of my knee. Lesson learned; never follow up a day of intense back/shoulder lifts that includes deadlifts with an intense lower-body day that includes leg curls.

WOW. I've never felt pain like that before.

Jaw pain flaring up. I couldn't get to sleep last night because the entire left side of my head was throbbing. Yesterday I managed to avoid becoming the fourth car in a series of rear endings on the freeway, more boy drama, moving drama, rescheduling job interviews, etc, and then, I just couldn't get to sleep because it hurt. I keep catching myself clenching it but I can't seem to prevent doing so in the first place. And of course the specialist I was recommended to see is a thousand miles away.

Having to pull over and get off my bike so I can puke for some inexplicable reason.

Missing my first orientation shift at my new house because of said puking.

Feeling like an unreliable fool.

Heat exhaustion? I know the only time I feel like throwing up, with regards to my bike, is when I get heat exhaustion.
