Bump. I like this thread.
[Edit:
- Being on the first page AGAIN. Dangit.
]
- Pages that require javascript/flash/s*** technology, and the only function of the page is to display a bunch of freaking images. Especially the ones that are horribly inefficient with unnecessasry "features" that peg my CPU. I don't need your damn smooth scrolling slideshow thing with a translucent fading background! I just want to see the damn images! Just gimme a link to click on, optionally with thumbnail. Latest violator: deviantart. I don't remember how recent the change was... but I certainly didn't used to need javascript to just view even just the thumbnails! I still don't see why it's needed; there's nothing really dynamic about the page, anyway.
- People who like to think aloud what pets are thinking, often in stupid voices. Like "he's thinking: oh, what's over here?" as the pet cat walks across the room. Oh man, excitement!
- Crap software. Seriously, some software (even commercial software? especially commercial software) just doesn't freaking work, for some things that really are supposed to. I think technology actually gets more frustrating as you know more about it, because it's less "oh, I don't know how this works, it's just so mysterious/confusing", and you can actually see where the designers/implementers were just too damn lazy, incompetent, or mismanaged to implement/design something properly. Like, you ask yourself "what am I doing wrong?", and you can see the answer is "nothing; the software is broken". I have answered myself with that far too many times, and the most frustrating part is when the source is closed so there's not a damn thing I can do about it except bitch. And as you can see, I do that quite a bit sometimes.
- Things that cause me to stay up too late. *glares at webcomics, bofh, pweb, usenet, *chans, possibly other things*
- Getting myself all riled up by ranting before I need to sleep. Dammit.
Another edit: wtf? If you start a word with a curse word, but add on additional letters (e.g. for a different form of the curse), it still gets censored to only e.g. four letters.

How can you hate garlic?
And math, like wine, is something that appreciates with age. Beer too, in my experience. What's the stance on hard liquor?

Math was for me quite the opposite, a youth crush.
You know, when you are hyperhormonated and begin to like that really hot girl? Then you start dating her and realize she has a nasty personality, but she's so classy it's hard for you to discard your infatuation?
Well, that was maths for me.
Sometimes i wonder what would have happened if i had stayed for the less hot, but cuter, and milder mannered Biology.
Instead, i went the middle way, Physics.
lol
Btw, i really hate alcoholic drinks.
Sometimes i have pyromaniac fantasies that involve me, a huge stock of spirits, and a flamethrower.
I think there is something reeeeeeeeeeeeeally wrong in my head

But then whence the hate? If you don't have any experience, wouldn't it be more of a "Things I am Ambivalent About"?I'm guessing she is not old enough to legally consume any alcohol, what with the homeschooling and all.

Again, just guessing, but I would say she has TRIED wine and beer enough to say she hates it but not enough to develop a taste for it.
I, on the other hand, have tried both many times in my 10 legal years and still have not developed a taste for either. I can enjoy a mixed drink on a rare occasion but usually I'd rather save my money and get water with lemon.

Works for me. I was a non-fan for years based on the wretched taste of ethanol, so I understand that. Then for whatever reason, my taste buds decided to change, so now I enjoy a nice wine.

Jota: Everything in that post made me smile. Edit: both posts, that is.
I would argue with you about levels of rage, but I'll settle for just saying that it comes from a different origin. It's a very different feeling. It's also depressing and sometimes scary, when you consider what else runs the same things.
Unless you're talking about the other thing; how f****** has six stars. Interesting that s***** has only three.
That said... "legally"? Hah. Also technically, it's not illegal in America if your parents are present and give permission, to my knowledge. There's a wikipedia page listing all of the various technicailities with it, but I forget where exactly.
You cannot know the extent of breakage that I have seen. There is certain technology I highly doubt you will ever encounter first hand.Your theory is f****** flawed.

Haha, that's right! Take that, righties! We actually have an advantage for once!-fencing a lefty
You've made your feelings pretty clear about this girl, numerous times. I never recognized the name, but now I see that she was a voice in the Disney re-release for My Neighbor Totoro. Even though I've never seen that version, and I do agree with most other things you have listed there, I just... I can't hate her.-Dakota Fanning
Technically, she never said she was currently in homeschool, nor does she supposedly abhor the actual drinking of the said beverages.I'm guessing she is not old enough to legally consume any alcohol, what with the homeschooling and all.

I hate the taste. Yes, I have tried a sip of a can that we had for no appearntly random reason. It's nasty/vile and I don't know how anyone can drink that much. And I am being homechooled at this time. But I also hate:
- the phrase "A good time was had by all"
-the way my little sister, Poke, always gets her own way.
-arrogant people
-sponge-bob
-Sappy, sentimental stories/books/movies
-Titanic
-Leonardo dicaprio
-The Pyscho Remake (I've seen random clips of it, which is enough to hate it by. I mean, Vince Vaughn as Norman????? What the heck where they THINKING?

Is "Care Bares" a mocking pornographic movie? Because there's no way you could hate the Care Bears... That show was an integral part of my childhood. No one hates the Care Bears! That's just madness...
you snooze, you lose
well I have snozzed and lost
I'm pushing through
I'll disregard the cost
I hear the bells
so fascinating and
I'll slug it out
I'm sick of waiting
and I can
hear the bells are
ringing joyful and triumphant

Getting up early five days a week. Especially when 6 hours of sleep is about the most I can ever muster. Really, I enjoy having a great job and all, but I think I hate getting up in the morning more than child molesters and stubbed toes combined.
