I have two kitties! Just adopted them, like I said, from my friend's brother who is having a baby (or maybe I didn't). We're getting along great, but I think they're a little weirded out, which is understandable. They both have longer hair than I like, but nothing a good brush down won't solve every few days.

Anyway, they are Maggie and Roxxie! They have both already claimed territory in my tiny apartment. We'll see what happens if I start letting them into my bedroom during the day.

Oh, and Maggie's eyes are closed because I decided to take these pictures at night and I can't turn the flash off of my camera due to a broken viewfinder.

The big one is really good about behaving for food (and in general, she's a good girl) but the little one typically climbs onto me and sticks his face right above the plate. Sometimes he mimics the big one and behaves, like in that picture, but typically, not so much.

Here is my new rescued beardie, named Zeus. This is what males do when they see a female. I guess it's a dominance thing. His beard turns black and he bobs his head up and down violently. When Pheeny sees him, she slowly bows her head to him in submission, over and over again.
