What will you be doing when Taal gets back?

Two years is a lot, especially at the stage most PWebbers are at. Things are changing rapidly and you're ending up in places you never thought you would. But, if you had to guess, what do you think you'll be doing in two years?

Personally I have no f****** idea. I might have dropped out of college or been kicked out, or maybe I will have shaped up and become an amazing student (not likely), who knows?

I'll be finishing up my senior year, hopefully in the middle of a fantastic internship, which will then naturally lead in to a job offer. And while I'm at it, lets throw in a dashing young man at my arm and a lottery win to take care of all of these stupid college loans. In the favorite words of my childhood... hey, it could happen.

if we're sticking in the realm of realistic, in two years i'd like to have job security at a publishing house or lit agency, which includes healthcare. i'd like to have one full manuscript of my novel finished. even if i haven't done anything beyond that. i just want it done and printed so i can hold it in my hands. i would also like to be able to live alone in two years time.

in fantasy world?

henry and i are back together and he lives in the apartment with me.

Two years?

I'll be finishing up my internship for my Ph.D. somewhere that is not North Dakota (because there are no accredited sites in ND). I'll be job hunting for an assistant professorship. My dissertation will be complete and I'll have at least three articles out there in the world published with my name on them. I'll be trimming down my dissertation to get that published as well.

I'll be so close to being Dr. Kirsten I'll be able to taste it. I'll have everything but a few months under my belt.

I may be studying for the EPPP, too. Depending.

Wow.

Two more years.

I'll have almost finished my first semester of college. And I will hopefully have a better job than Chick-fil-a.

Or I'll be a manager.

By the time Dave gets back, my baby will be 3 years old, and I'll probably either be pregnant or have another baby by then. Scary!

Either making my way through my first or second year at Uni, depending on if I decide to have a whirlwind adventure or make some money next year.

finishing up my second year of med school, which means studying for boards like mad. hopefully i'll live in a nicer apartment than i do now, with preferably one other roommate. it'd be nice to be in a relationship, begin to get settled with that area of my life. but i have no idea what city i'll be living in.....

I'll probably still be at this school, in two years. If only because I'm too lazy to do something else.

Hopefully out of school and into an apartment. Maybe engaged? I hope?

Hmmm...Two years...

#1 would definitely be job security...in two years I would be graduated for almost a year and a half...so I pray to god by than I would have a stable job...

Next on the list would being on my own...for the most part I am right now...during school I have my own apartment...so if in two years I regressed to being back at home...that would suck...

Hopefully I would be at least starting on my masters...hopefully with some finacial support from whatever company I happen to be working for...

That's pretty much what I hope for...a steady relationship might be nice...but I'll only be 23 and I'm really not in a rush...and if the rest of my life isn't settled than I'm definitely in zero rush...

The same thing we do every night, Pinky...

Yeah, I really don't see myself changing much at this point. I might get even more goofier if that's possible, but that would be about it. I'm hoping to have physically met at least a few of you philotic dorks between now and then, though.

I'm sorry, but no one is allowed to blast Kelly for her grammar one minute and then write this sentence the next. Just no. :P

Two years... Wow, I hope to be close, or very close to done with my bachelors degree. I hope to have a finished full length screenplay (hopefully two actually), and be working very hard on a feature length film.

Other than that, I know I'll be engaged, possibly married.

I'll be finishing my first semester of grad school... possibly at MIT, but that's only if my credentials can match my ambition.

Hopefully pregnant or close to it, hopefully living in a bigger place. Possibly still living in Winnipeg.
Likely still at the same job.

I'd like to be in a serious, HEALTHY relationship. I'd love to be out in Los Angeles, trying to make things work out there, doing anything at all - most likely production work and a bit of acting on the side.
I hope to be happy.
I also hope to have dear friends willing to follow me out there.
I hope to have a s***** of money saved from the years prior so that I can actually survive

I'll hopefully be half-way done my final year of undergrad and be getting ready to write a big ol' final paper to graduate. And I'll hopefully have decided where to apply for grad school and either have done so or be doing so.

Ahem. They can lie all they want, but the secret is out and has been for awhile. In fact, their little love-child has been a poster here since the old board. Haven't you ever heard of Mini-Caspian? Mmhmm... you can keep your cover ups, missy, I know the truth.

I'll be graduated with my BS in Computer Science, and hopefully have a high-paying job to go with it.

Hopefully I can get married by then. Guess I better start finding a girlfriend, huh?
