Actually, I appreciate it for comparison's sake (B&W vs color, head-on vs profile, smiling vs no emotion). It seems as though he's two different people, looking at the two of them. One I would feel very comfortable with, the other would make me piss my pants out of fear...and then if he didn't shoot me or scowl me to death, I might take the time to appreciate the choice in shirts.
I still feel the need to mention, I really like your hair. It looks soft (reminds me of a fuzzy baby duck, not sure why) and pretty much made for running fingers through and your beard looks fun as well.

The other one is down; link was broken (same reason it's not my avatar. Didn't get around to fixing it.)
And.. yeah, thanks GD... =D
The other guy, though he doesn't look it, is the scarier one. Smaller and younger than me, he could still probably whoop my ass. That black belt he's wearing isn't for decoration...
I concur with JG, human's pic is quite... photogenic.

=] Thanks.
I agree with Alea on your hair, it just looks fun to touch! Though the gun picture scares me.. Is it bad that it really intimidated me when it was your photo icon thing (what are those called? Facebook makes me want to say profile picture..)? I like the top picture a lot, though! Much more friendly and approachable..

Avatar! A term that originally meant a personification, normally in terms of a god or such, but was brought to use for computers in the late 80's. The originator is highly disputed, but its use in Neal Stephenson's cyberpunk novel Snow Crash cemented how it would be used to mean computer representation of real-world users and objects.I agree with Alea on your hair, it just looks fun to touch! I love Avatar the last airbender! Anybody planning on seeing the movie?
Very pretty, human.

I feel weird taking this quote from *counts on fingers, then gives up* whenever this was before the multitude of other posts. But, you're welcome, human. It's made me feel good that I brightened your dayAww, thank you.. It makes me smile when people think I'm pretty... And last night was just one of those nights where you need to wake up to a spontaneous feel good moment.. So, thanks for brightening my day. =]
You musn't be afraid to dream a little bigger, darling.

Belated reply but as much as I wish I could claim that as my own, I got that from Daria (<3).That made me giggle love that kind of humourA herd of beautiful wild ponies running free across the plains.
My niece is over, hanging out. We (read: I) decided we wanted proof that we hung out. Don't ask me where we were looking or why both of us have such terrible flyaway problems with our hair. At the risk of sounding terribly biased, I think she's beautiful.

She is very beautiful, and i'm not sure I've actually seen a baby that hasn't had some sort of awesome hair style like that, most of the time.

And there will come a time, you'll see, with no more tears.
And love will not break your heart, but dismiss your fears.
Get over your hill and see what you find there,
With grace in your heart and flowers in your hair.

Right underneath the picture it says" Your sarcasm could kill a baby".
That was like the first thing I saw when I looked away from the pic.
That is some fun juxtaposition there, isn't it? *laugh* Thanks for the other bit, by the way.
Jota, do I need to explain to you where babies come from?
And thanks, Fred! I don't think that picture does the little monkey any justice. I also finally figured out why her hair was particularly bad last night; she had been wearing a bow before then.
