How about that weather, then, eh?

Talk about anything under the sun or stars - but keep it civil. This is where we really get to know each other. Everyone is welcome, and invited!

:D I may have said this before. Californian's are pansies about weather. It's 60ish and sunny here in Irvine, i'm running around in shorts and t-shirt (and finding it pleasantly warm given that I was doing the same last week in VT with weather that was 15 degrees colder) and everyone else is wearing sweatshirts and jackets and apologizing I had to be here when its "so cold."

It's sunny and beautiful and the snow is falling in massive chunks off our roof.

I believe Chris and I are getting the same flood.

It's going to be a seriously wet spring. The Red River is about to burst it's banks with a vengence.

It was about 65 degrees around lunch today, but there is a huge cloud looming over the mountain that is going to bring a blizzard tonight!! Our weather is typically like this in the spring in Colorado. It goes from gorgeous sunshine in the 60's and 70's to blizzarding and freezing, rinse, repeat once or twice a week. It's Awesome!!

Holy flooding!! Be safe!

A foot of snow is about to dump on us tonight/tomorrow, following this pouring rain we had today and the 75 degree weather we had yesterday. Ahhhh.....Colorado. Love it!

The 30 degree swings in temperature over this passed week, gave me the cold of colds. I still have some lingering effects.

today it got up in the 60s outside, and biking made me think it was uncomfortably warm, so I took of my jacket.

So I'm hoping Wind Swept got some of this, because I was in North Dakota for a funeral and it snowed.

It is June.

I'm glad I packed jeans and a sweatshirt, unlike my dad, who only packed a coat. I was quite toasty in our tent, halfway to Minot, but it was still cold outside.

Anyway, the snow was a little fortuitous, actually. My cousin, who has lived her entire life in Okinawa, Japan, got to see snow for the first time. She got absolutely soaking, and though she is an annoyingly spoiled little eight-year-old, it was quite sweet.

Awww. That is sweet.

Been in the 80s here with random thunderstorms.

I love not being in North Dakota. Other than missing the bragging rights.

Only as related to surviving the weather, Ed. If it weren't for that, generations of North Dakotans, South Dakotans, Minnesotans, and Wisconsinites would be a rather lost and pathetic bunch looking for something to cling to.:P

South Dakotans have Mount Rushmore, Wisconsinites have cheese and the Packers. North Dakotans and Minnesotans, however, have nothing. Absolutely nothing. Although apparently during the Cold War North Dakota was third in the list of nuclear superpowers (the first two being the United States (totaled up) and Russia).

Not true. Minnesotans have the Mall of America. And some of them think it matters that they have the Vikings and the Twins.

North Dakotans have the world's largest buffalo (statue).
