I don't know if Avery Brooks suffers from the same thing the other Captain actors have, which is this weird illusion that the show is about them, and everyone else is supporting cast. I mean, I guess it's what gave them the ability to act the roles.
Well, Patrick Stewart was the best actor in the bunch. Data was good, and I liked Worf and Geordi, but Picard had actual presence.

The Inner Light is my absolute favorite episode. I learned the song on the piano by ear I loved it so much. I like darmok pretty well, too.

"Darmok" has Patrick Stewart telling Gilgamesh. That's just cool right there.

I've always thought it would be funny to talk like the people in the Darmock episode, except all your references had to be something about Star Trek.

For instance if you wanted a tea, you'd be 'Picard with the hot drink' or something...

What do you guys think of them doing a prequel star trek movie about when Kirk and Spock met in Starfleet Academy?

Personally I like the idea of bringing back the original crew... it would also be nice to see a movie based on characters that aren't actually captains of anything.

I really hope they show how Kirk "beat" the Kobayashi Maru scenario.

i think it would have to wait till all the actors are dead. then they can find similer looking young actors to play the part.

If John goes out and kills Shatner, Nemoy and the rest, I'm blaming you, mr_thebrain.
