I LOVE it when assessment data A) makes me feel like I was on target before the results came in and also B) gives me things to consider that I was having trouble putting into words or not quite seeing.
You know what it feels like? It feels like I'm one of those people on Bones or NCIS or something (side note: now that Bones officially sucks, I have been gravitating to NCIS). One of the lab rats who is suddenly coming up with a bunch of facts or pointing stuff out and just putting the puzzle together. I mean, obviously it's different. But I think the mental process is similar. Really, I love everything about assessment except the write up.
Also, I love having access to the full interpretation of the Millon computer reports without having to do to much work translating them for the final report, since I'm the one who will be using the info. That makes it simple, and reduces concerns about being misunderstood or misused.
After the last report I did -- which I must've spent easily over 15 hours on (not including the time I spent after it was finished thinking in the shower, in my dreams, and on the drive to work about things I wish I'd added) and which I'm not going to be able to bill nearly enough for to compensate -- I am actually really looking forward to writing this one up. I am having a happy, "Can you believe I get paid for this?" kind of moment.

This hilarious youtube video with a pigeon riding the subway. (super short, so totally worth clicking)

I bet that pigeon didn't even buy a token .
I am so tired of those winged vermin mooching off of society and giving nothing in return. Pretty soon they're going to start taking our jobs (those few that aren't too lazy to work), and then marrying our women! I won't stand for it!
Look at how he struts around the train like he owns the place. I'm going to find out where that bastard lives...

Hahaha, awesome. I love how he didn't even flap when he got off the train, just sauntered on out as if he owned the place.

You know he's only taking the train because they won't let him drive the bus.

Ah, that's awesome! It reminds me of a squirrel who just runs around the local Home Depot, he think he owns the place.

And there will come a time, you'll see, with no more tears.
And love will not break your heart, but dismiss your fears.
Get over your hill and see what you find there,
With grace in your heart and flowers in your hair.

I love that my teacher gets periodically asked by WashU, my current main choice uni, to recommend them a student from our school - and she recommends me.
It was quite a pleasant surprise that made my day.
Though, maybe she figures the others don't need her recommendation?
Meh - the glass is half full to me!

Double Edward Norton. The movie (Leaves of Grass) looks a little goofy but I like those.

Using that drattmann as username and h0nee as password on the BBS feed gets you a message. What's with the seemingly randomly underlined letters? I'm assuming it's some sort of code but I've never been good at unscrambling these things.

This thread has all the info.

The window is open, there is Sunday rain (the most special kind of rain) outside and booming thunder that scares me just enough to also amuse me (my freaking house is shaking from it folks), "Sunday Morning" is on my speakers, Chai is making its way to me. While it would be nice to have a snuggle-partner, I don't need one. I'm very much in love with the feeling of this moment.

It's raining outside, and I have a comfy chair, a mug of tea, a fireplace, and a fuzzy puppy. The day could be far, far worse.

Mine used his litter box from the first day we got him, at two weeks old. We plopped him in it, he peed, he never peed anywhere else. Ever. It's been a year. We have occasionally found poop on the floor two inches from the litter box, but maybe he pooped in the little box and then kicked it out while trying to bury it. It happens.I don't know where you get a cat that's potty trained from the get-go, but I definitely had to train mine. Also, my cat is by far messier and clumsier than my dog.
