That One Boss. Seriously. I stopped there one playthrough because of it.Because the red candle really comes in handy and the boss is so cool that he comes back all the way from level one and there are so many cool new enemies and there is this awesome guy that makes you give him a 60 rupee piece of meat to get passed. Level 7, you deserve to be located at the bottom of the lake.

Oh, do tell. I have a bet with myself about who it is.I love that I can see when two posters are actually the same person. Makes my day.

I love when people use the " how can you possibly KNOW, you weren't actually THERE" argument. And the put crazy emphasis on words to make someone else feel stupid. But then make sweeping generalizations about events that they couldn't have possible been there for and then get defensive when anything they say is questioned or refuted. Gotta love it.

Working with the kids on the soccer team. They have to do dribbling as part of warming up and they do so from goal line to goal line. In their little minds, it's just not a complete task if they don't shoot on the goal every time they pass one (about 8 times in the warm up). What inevitably follows is that they dive in the little net after their ball and hit each other and climb over each other. Just like puppies.
This one kid, who showed up to the first few practices very shy and serious has loosened up and while we were doing a drill that included some wait time for some of the kids, he looks up at me with his hands in his pockets and tells me, "Gosh, I have so much to do today!" I humored him, trying not to laugh at how much he sounded like a little adult, and asked "Such as?" "I have homework. And chores. And I have to do dinner!" Probably a "you had to be there and know the kid" moment but it was a fantastic moment nonetheless.
I am ever so in love with life during practices.

I think a "thanks" would be an appropriate response. It just feels a little off; "Thanks for liking when I'm happy." *chuckle*
I won't readily admit this in the morning, or if pressed by my family, because it's so much fun to complain about it but I really love waking up every morning to two dogs who are so happy to see me awake, they half lick my hand off when I try to hit snooze.
ETA: I love that Brian is posting again. We'll just need to speak about his children more, methinks.

Two humanities nerds against one science nerd... I was outnumbered! (But delightfully well informed about a great many things).

I always get so excited when I see pictures from when Pwebbers meet! I'm also jealous!

It was pretty awesome. Hope we weren't overwhelming as humanities nerds!
Jan, we won't be in town much longer. We'll be out on the west coast for a while. But someday we will!
