And don't pull people over for going 2MPH over the limit.

And don't look for any excuse to give someone a ticket when they don't deserve one.

And cops do do good things, like fining my friend $2000 for throwing a party. Wait, that's not good. Shucks.

Okay, what I said about cops not doing anything good, I guess was a little extreme. It is certainly good to have some threat of punishment for bad looming over you. Otherwise it's Anarchy, which sucks too (please don't launch into a pro-anarchy debate...)

But seriously, what do cops do? Traffic violations (quite often unfair since they have to fill a ridiculous quota), minor drug busts (usually marijuana, which is completely unfair to bust for, and unconstitutional and...ugh, don't get me started...) and what else? Not a lot that matters.

The real crime control is the investigators and the courts and the SWAT who go into intense situations where well-trained law enforcement is needed, not cop grunts who they lie to in order to get them to work in the best interest of the government.
