I'll be back in VT for school, so I was contemplating carpooling down with you, or flying in. Apparently the only reasonable flights available are JetBlue from Burlington into JFK (and I could take the train from there into the city), but I'm also not sure if I could borrow a car for the day to drive to Albany. What time are you leaving in the morning?

I'll be leaving around 6am (to get Alea at 9am), so you would have to leave Burlington at like 3am. Not sure if that would work.

I know I work the 18th for sure, and possibly the 19th. I'll have to wait until next week to see if I have it off. If I don't work though, I would totally be up for lunch/dinner!

And I won't be able to. My coworker will still be in Arizona, so not only will that Sunday be a really long, lonely day for me, it'll also be my 7th day in a row.

I just got home from dinner with Syphoney bologna! (I have a picture but can't post it without permission)

We met up at Giordano's for some deep dish pizza, which I ate way too much of and ended up giving myself a tummy ache. But it was a lot of fun and he is pretty much as awesome in person as he is online.

Um, of COURSE! Hopefully we can make a trip work soon. Brian's best friend was supposed to be getting married this coming March, but plans fell through. (Long story and it's not at all what you would think! Everyone is quite frustrated.) It's just so hard to coordinated time off between Tyler and Brian.

Agreed but the problem for me is, while I would most likely travel to attend such an event, I am getting down-to-my-bones tired of traveling but think it would be unfair to demand it happen here. So, I'm mostly finding myself hoping that if it happens, it doesn't happen any time soon.

Well, as a "last resort" we could all come to some great local place to see the opening of Ender's Game movie! That would be an awesome PWebCon!

I would love to be involved in a Con. And although I am now technically real, I could stand to be realer. As far as travel is concerned, and I hate to side with Alea, but Chicago is pretty central and awesome.

I'd prefer Denver myself. Partly because I've already been to Chicago twice, but mostly because I've yet to meet Steph and the Stephlings and the chances of them attending are greatly increased if it's in Denver.

Also, I call dibs on Steph's couch!

So, it turns out that Noah, Darian, Janelle and I all live fairly close by each other in Maryland these days.

Currently, Darian, Noah and I are going to get together TOMORROW (December 19, 2012), at the TGIF in Laurel, MD, at 8:30 pm. Janelle will join us at another get-together in the near future.

I expect exactly no one to take me up on this but I'll throw it out anyway...

I'm turning Old in 2013 (I say with a wink) - the big 3-0 - and I have managed to get my birthday off from work. I'll be celebrating by going to Wildberry for breakfast/brunch and watching part of the St. Patrick's Day parade/checking out the dying of the river. Then most likely back to my place but it's still months away, so I'm not really solidifying more than breakfast and the river.

Anyone who would like to help me ring in the wrinkles is welcome to come up/over; I can house someone(s) in the spare room and someone on the couch in the living room.
