Congrats!

Renee has another seven weeks til she finds out. that whole extra day of testing makes getting the results take that much longer.

We are pleased to advise that you have passed the July 2011 Illinois bar examination.
Congratulations, you, I told you you'd do it. It's been so awesome watching you make that a reality over the years.

That's awesome Syphon, but I'm curious how that fits in the "No one else will ever understand" department. ;)

I imagine it has more to do with the number of people taking the exam. CA does 6 hour-long essays, while IL does 9 30-minute essays. We do the same multiple choice, though CA does one extra performance test. But even that should be easy to grade, as the test taker is given the law. I think they're just slow for the sake of being slow.

I've got my fingers crossed for her!

This one is really for Tyler, but since he doesn't really understand how exactly awesome it is, I'm posting it for him. (I honestly don't consider this MY triumph in any way, shape, or form. This is all his in-born talent.)

Tyler's teacher told us that she could send him to 5th grade for reading, but she doesn't want to demoralize the 5th graders.

After a decade of being too scared to stray from A-lines, I finally (when I'm far from in the best shape of my life, even) have the confidence to rock a pencil skirt.

And I rock a pencil skirt.

No way are you old enough for that!

It seems just yesterday you were 15, acting all like a young-un. All of our little P-Web people are growing up! Soon you'll be taking advanced courses in things and posting things that make the entire board get all up in a tizzy. *sniff*

Canv.as is running a contest based on a theme I suggested.

I should anonymously post gibberish on their posts more often.

I finished my awesome Batgirl hoodie/costume and it is awesome. Pics in the craft thread when Paul gets home and can take my picture (or I can figure out the timer function on my camera).

I shot loaded guns for the first time ever, today. A .22 rifle and a .243. I hit the bullseye every. freaking. time.

Color me impressed. I've shot guns multiple times in my life and have managed to hit the bullseye all of one time (probably). I am an awful shot.

Fred, Chris and I can take you shooting!
I'll let you use my 243.... and if we ask really really nice we might be able to take out the 22/250. Its my favorite!
