Twins! (Yeah, no, that would have turned up ages ago.)
Ummm. The sprog is further along than expected, and next week we'll have a new pweb baby!
I have no idea, I'm just enjoying the game.

Yeah, since my older sister and I were both a month early, I've decided never to make plans based on the due date.

I got a new top case for my mac, today, to replace the one with cracks! And it was free! AND they replaced the keyboard and trackpad, so now my arrow keys work again! It is so lovely feeling new keys and being able to play games and do other things with the arrow keys on my computer again.

I did that the other night/day, I couldn't believe I slept that long, it was wonderful!
I love the stories my nephew tells me. Yesterday I got a story about his Lego mini-figure named Bone Daddy who had no friends because his planet was destroyed, and who wanted to rob the Krusty Krab because whenever he went there as a kid (all 10 times) they would give him "short food". There was also something about his hat being passed down/up though his family in a weird pattern, but not his cape, that was just bought at the evil cape store.

And there will come a time, you'll see, with no more tears.
And love will not break your heart, but dismiss your fears.
Get over your hill and see what you find there,
With grace in your heart and flowers in your hair.

Female Star Wars fans rally behind first grade girl who was bullied for having a Star Wars water bottle
The bullying story is sad, but I love the response of thousands of women saying "You're cool!".

I commented too. Thanks for pointing me there, Jan! I don't check Epbot every day, and I'd be sad to miss this.Female Star Wars fans rally behind first grade girl who was bullied for having a Star Wars water bottle

Stumbling across a piece of paper with my little brother's handwriting that said:
I clearly remember watching the first two shows with him, and I suspect that this was written when he was in high school and thinking of university and beyondShows That Influenced me
Magic School Bus - learned about science; gravity, carbon cycle, ecosystems, solar system
Reboot - learned about computers
Daily Planet - learned about new technologies, Green tech
Popular Mechanics for kids - learned how things work like machines and stuff

Heather Dale's Christmas album. It's my antidote to Christmas grinchiness. I'm on song two, and I can already feel myself being more festive!
P.S. Is your brother going to be home over the holidays?

Continued good news on the dental front. I've forgotten what it feels like to loathe going, really.
Morning walks in the fall. <3
My mom's decision to stay in the greater Tucson area last night. TV, music or silence? Kind of bad food or eat as healthy as I can? Craft, read, BSG, or sit and stare into space? Living room, kitchen, or bedroom? Walk the dogs, Just Dance, ride my bike, or some combination? I had a whole day to myself and had so much fun being completely in charge of every little aspect of my life, with zero explaining or justifying, for those 24+ hours.

Do people count as a subset of "things"?
I love Nomi. I love Nomi more than words can say. Not only does she take care of me emotionally, way more than I could ever hope to deserve and return, she does these entirely thoughtful, sweet little acts of kindness.
I got home from work and there was this package waiting for me and I thought it was probably for the gift exchange and haha to the suckers who wanted Nomi to be their person (everyone in their right mind) but it wasn't, it was a just because package. I opened it and inside was the most adorable little Wicket ever and I totally geeked out. He was shoved in the face of every person in this house while I squealed and did other embarrassing acts of girliness I hardly ever do.

Yay! And thank you.
Just so you know, a bunch of pwebbers wanted to go in on buying you a whole set but I wasn't up for the challenge of making all of them (I'm only just finishing the first of three sets for Steph). So, I did the one I knew you wanted most. But the thought and plan was there. You are very loved. *hugs*

Adorable!!
I also love being paid to go to a hockey game. And our Advent wreath. Tomorrow is the first day of Advent, so I'm really, really happy to have it prepared.

Thanks, guys. You don't have to keep doing stuff like that but that in and of itself means quite a bit. The feelings are mutual. But the thought and plan was there.
(That always reminds me of Ratey for some reason. Did she use that a lot?)

I am having the urge to watch Ernest Saves Christmas and Ernest Goes to Camp, for some reason.

I never saw the end. I had to stop watching about 10 minutes in because it scared me. While this happened when I was a kid, I've never felt the slightest inclination to go and watch it again. Please don't ever ask me to admit this to anyone outside of Pweb but Ernest Scared Stupid actually did scare the crap out of me. The troll freaked me out. Was it milk that hurt it? I'm pretty sure it was.
