I got a new phone today (a Nokia 6350 for those who want to know). The mic on my old one died saturday and I've had to use my brother's old phone in the mean time.
A new phone is a good time to update my address book. If anyone would like to exchange numbers, send me a PM. I have Alea and Fred (and a few others that I haven't called recently and might've changed). My number is still the same.

Allons enfants de la Patrie,
Le jour de gloire est arrivé !
Contre nous de la tyrannie,
L'étendard sanglant est levé, (bis)
Entendez-vous dans les campagnes
Mugir ces féroces soldats ?
Ils viennent jusque dans vos bras
Égorger vos fils, vos compagnes !
Aux armes, citoyens
Formez vos bataillons
Marchons, marchons !
Qu'un sang impur
Abreuve nos sillons !
Que veut cette horde d'esclaves,
De traîtres, de rois conjurés ?
Pour qui ces ignobles entraves,
Ces fers dès longtemps préparés ? (bis)
Français, pour nous, ah ! quel outrage
Quels transports il doit exciter !
C'est nous qu'on ose méditer
De rendre à l'antique esclavage !
Aux armes, citoyens
Formez vos bataillons
Marchons, marchons !
Qu'un sang impur
Abreuve nos sillons !

Okay, so why did I never, ever learn in school that France is a few miles off the coast of Canada?
St. Pierre and Miquelon is really, really close to the island of Newfoundland. Just scroll a bit to the east there on google maps and you'll see St. John's. It's a territory of France and I can totally go visit it! And say I've been to FRANCE.
Look how cute it looks!
Seriously, though, other Canadians... did you know this place existed?

You are all incorrect. Jason Webley sings the greatest drinking song ever (here with everyone's favorite... whatever she is, Amanda Palmer!).

I've known about them since I was a kid. I thought everybody did. That's why they're a different colour in all the atlases...Okay, so why did I never, ever learn in school that France is a few miles off the coast of Canada?

Not sure if this counts as randomness or just plain spam, but anyone signing up here would receive my undying (read: until I forget) appreciation, and would also have the chance to win a lot of awesome stuff.

I just had the most bizarre thing. I was just standing there, minding my own business, when suddenly my teeth started chattering violently. It was like a muscle spasm, but... in the jaw. And then it went away. The human body is a weird and freaky thing.

I got a weird phone call this evening. I'm busy playing Xbox, minding my own business, when my cellphone rings. I look at the number and don't recognize it. I decide to answer it because it might be important or something. It was, in fact, super important. The exchange went something like this:
"Hello?"
"*crunch* I didn't expect you to answer."
"Uh, okay. I think you have the wrong number."
"Do I? *crunch crunch*"
"Do you? Who is this?"
"Is this Wil?"
"Yes, who is this?"
"*crunch* I'm hurt that you don't know who this is."
This super awkward conversation went on for nearly two hours. The crunching, however, did not. I will have to think twice before agreeing to allowing random first phone calls in the future.
Perhaps next time I'll talk more.
Nah, that's just crazy talk.

A "mole" is approximately 6.02 x 10^23 particles. It's a very important number in chemistry. Mole Day is celebrated annually on October 23, particularly at 6:02. We chemistry teachers like to make a big thing of it. One of my colleagues makes cupcakes! And here's me wishing I knew more (read: anything) about chemistry so that I would understand this.
Unless you mean the subterranean creature, in which case I really don't get it.

One of the chemistry teachers at my highschool would hold a contest of sewing a creative stuffed mole (animal) for Mole Day. Some people were really creative: "Mole"zart, "Mole"d, "Mole"ecular, etc. Unfortunately, I wasn't in his class.

One of my chemistry teachers has a LEO says GER extra credit project, and I saw a guy wearing the (glitter paint) tshirts he had made for it walking around town (he was wearing school brand clothing so it had to be that class, lol), though we never celebrated Mole day.
So don't go worrying about me

So maybe I do, but that shouldn't affect
Your life anymore
